My immediate supervisor was a rockstar and I was motivated to do quality work for him. I didn't feel that much a part of the office family because of my position but I really enjoyed the flexible schedule, the beautiful office, but the position I had was tedious and made it difficult to stay focused and motivated to keep performing at a high level consistently. For marketing, we do things differently, we hold ourselves accountable and validate our marketing with research. We track ROI for each media vehicle our research tells us to use, this not only validates the research, but it allows us to find the best path forward with the least amount of starting capital. It's a very lean process which aims for maximum efficiency and optimum results.
For research, we bring in the creative team after a study. We brainstorm ideas based on what we learned from the research which can be leveraged from a marketing perspective.

Marketing Research Analyst
Diedrich RPM has taught me many things over my two years of being here. The company hired me while I was a junior in college and have taught me how to analyze data and gather insights on consumers through SPSS. The workplace is very comfortable and my co-workers make work so much easier. I've gained many new friends from working at Diedrich RPM. The hardest part of my job is explaining statistical tests to clients with no experience. The language that SPSS uses is very confusing to beginners and that's why it's hard to explain sometimes. The best websites do what they are designed to do. What is your goal? That's the first question.

What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We typically send out a discovery document that functions as an onboarding form. The things we ask for are commensurate with the work we are conducting. For example, social media projects require access to all social accounts. For website work, we need access to the content management system in place (if any) and any Google products or Analytics services used on the website.
Our onboarding form helps determine needs for projects.
What do you love most about your job?
We love the opportunity to do something different every day and to help make a difference in our community. With our efforts, we directly grow the businesses in our community and around the nation.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Our CEO, Liz Diedrich, has an amazing story. Her philosophy has always been to test and measure any marketing vehicle in order to validate ROI. No one else was doing this the way she believed it could be done, so she set out to change that.
