Amazing experience working with the team at Dickinson Woodworks- both service and the end product meet the true definition of bespoke, we could not have asked for better oversight on our decision making process which lead to a timeless addition to our current home, portable to any new home in the future.
I appreciated their openness to working with different materials- using their existing relationships to track down the stone countertop that perfectly complimented our existing decor and the texture of the wooden cabinet that sits beneath it. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a custom piece, seeking the highest standard in function and quality. The smallest things, like taking the height of existing counter tops in the room, or the width of the doorframe on the way in did not go unnoticed!

I have spent over 20 years working at the very top of the furniture design industry and so it was an absolute delight to discover that Dickinson Woodworks were not only able to follow my every request with care and attention but were also able to anticipate needs and make innovative proposals.
Another miraculous discovery was that Sam and Stefan always made time to go over details and specifics, with awareness of what was being asked, of what was necessary and a real desire to arrive at the best possible solution.

We're at the final stages of doing a whole refurbishment of our house and the best decision we made was getting Sam in to build the kitchen. Our initial meeting at his workshop enabled us to see the materials that were to be used and his practical advice extended from laminate styles to drawer sizes. It was important that we stuck to the budget we had and Sam was great at giving us all the alternatives to remain within it. We got the whole thing decided in one go and any follow up questions were answered rapidly. His team came in and installed the kitchen over a couple of days and it was a real pleasure watching it transforming the space. Open Practice Architecture
As architects, we have worked with Dickinson Woodworks several times and the outcome has always been amazing. The overall quality of the product coming from their attention to detail is second to none.
The prices are also very reasonable. Most recently we commissioned them to build the kitchen for our own home, a warehouse conversion in East London.

Using Dickinson Woodworks we were able to create a truly bespoke kitchen.
They produced a detailed design based on our initial brief which was continuously revised and updated it as the building work progressed.
A full-sized sample was produced to confirm all the finishes, ironmongery, mouldings and details were just right.
The quality of joinery is exceptional. We have a listed house with uneven walls and lots of odd angles and the cupboards and units all fit seamlessly. As a result, our brief expanded to include bookshelves, extra cupboards and the utility room.
Lastly, having a large kitchen refit is never easy, but it was a pleasure to deal with such a knowledgeable and experienced team and they ensured that there was minimal disruption and mess.

Dickinson are the tops. We we're introduce to them through RIBA decorated architect David Kohn Ass. who we commissioned to design and oversee a highly spec'ed rear extension. Dickenson were hired to interpret the design, and build a run of cupboards, sinks, fridges and an island unit. Beautifully conceived and executed in European baked ash draw and cupboard fronts, hand built Beech liners and ply carcasses and rolled steel surfaces. All bespoke.
