Dickerman Design collaborative interior design model is a simplified approach that literally saves clients' thousands of dollars in design fees and furniture installation costs.
We offer a 3 step interior design service. Step 1 is an in-home design consultation, Step 2 design & curation of the space(s), Step 3 in-home design package presentation & delivery.
It's a creative collaboration, designer-curated, and client implemented.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I empower my client's to draw on their own unique sense of design style. We then curate the client's design vision with architectural & interior design integrity. Dickerman Design is known for designing spaces that support & celebrate our clients!
What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about design and I love solving spacial, functional, and aesthetic challenges that surface within the interior design process, creating innovative beautiful home environments. My work is all about relationship and listening as well as seeing my clients' creative vision for their home. This is key to our collaborative design model! I find that so satisfying!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Dickerman Design believes that beauty belongs to everyone and having a fabulous home interior that supports who we are is key to a more creative and centered mindset. "With this in mind, I created a collaborative interior design business model that allows more individuals and families access to professional interior design services. Our clients love having a professional to collaborate with empowering them throughout the design process as well as the procurement and installation of new furnishings. Starting my own successful business endeavor some 20 years ago was also about living a balanced family life and being available to my two daughters in a meaningful way." Signed, Donna Dickerman

Dickerman Design delivers curated interior design packages that come in on project budget, ready to implement. " Our clients experience a sense of being able to manage their own design project as well as what can often turn out to be "runaway" design fees". We offer follow-up consultation support throughout the furniture implementation phase. Dickerman Design considers it our purpose is to leave each and every client empowered and supported by their homes."

Step One: During the Design Kick-Off Meeting, Donna Dickerman will guide the meeting utilizing a through questionnaire creating your interior design vision, style, spatial challenges, and budget. Donna will also be measuring and photographing your space.
Step Two: Utilizing the questionnaire along with meeting notes and Donna’s 30 years of professional expertise, the creative process begins with the best-fit furniture layout, researching furniture sources as well as brainstorming how to create a style individually unique to you.
Diving deeper into the creative process requires some analysis of each piece of furniture, art, lighting, fixtures, rugs, etc. This analysis is based upon the best-fit criteria which include manufacturer, style, dimensions, fabric quality, color, finish, price, and availability.
All this information is edited and revised until it meets our Dickerman Design discerning standards.
Step Three: During the final meeting, the Design Map Booklet will be presented along with your next action steps. Donna will explain each page of the Design Map Booklet and answer all your questions. If more clarity is required and or changes, Dickerman Design offers a bonus 30-minute follow-up. You will have the opportunity to consult with Donna via phone, text, or email.
