They quoted us 4-6 weeks before they could start our project, but we knew that was typical considering it is the Spring and everyone is anxious to build during that time. I had Diamond Decks come to my home for an estimate and a drawing about what I wanted. Not only did they make it work, but they also imputed some of their own ideas to really make my backyard the best in the neighborhood. The fact that I did not have to put any money down, nor have to pay anything until the job was complete definitely made the wait for the finished product better. Although they are really busy, they never left me hanging with what the next step was. The whole process was a breeze and Donnie, Kyle and all the employees in the company were so helpful and friendly. Donnie, his crew and his staff is so incredible! We had some creative designs that we wanted done for our brand new night club / bar (Hyde in the Stone Oak area) in San Antonio. When we showed these designs to Donnie he automatically said "We can do that. No problem!" And not only did he and his crew deliver amazing results but their professionalism and quickness were stellar! Although I provided a previous negative review I would like to modify my comments to include the following. The end results of our gable covered patio was beautiful and more then we envisioned. The detailed stamped concrete work that Chris did was beyond our expectations. In addition, the job that Jose did on the construction was better then we imagined. Even though Diamond Decks took a while to get started on our project they ended up redeeming themselves as a company. Something to consider when getting bids from this company is to receive detailed work plans and timeline concerning the various construction goals. Donny was very professional during his visit to our home and gave us the actual price for the patio/driveway cover we wanted built. His partner, Mac came by a few days later to take measurements and confirm our preferences and gave us an estimate of when they could start. True to their word, they called a few weeks later, started the project a few days later and completed it within a week. It looks great and we're very happy with it. Several neighbors have stopped to look at it and give us compliments. The best thing is that they ask for NO money until the job is complete and the customer is satisfied, which is unheard of with most contractors. We would hire them again in a minute! More...
