Had another birthday dinner at a small Italian restaurant in Historic downtown of Irving. Quaint and cute place and all 6 of us ordered different dishes. We ordered Lasagna, Penna pasta with marinara sauce and chicken, Lobster bisque soup and lobster ravioli, chicken marsala, sunrise chicken pasta, and another dish with alfredo and wine sauce with chicken (don't remember the name of dish) and OMG everything was so delicious!! All were so delicious and generous proportions. For my birthday, they brought out the Tiramisu plate and played the birthday song overhead. We also bought the cannoli, baklava and the chocolate mousse cake for dessert and all were exquisite in presentation and taste. This is our first time for all of us and we have all stated that we will be back. Price is comparable to other Italian restaurants for dinner. Staff were very friendly. This local restaurant is a gem! This is the second time we have been here and both visits were outstanding! Lasagna is just like your Nonna would make; the pasta is the perfect al dente; the meat sauce is hearty and flavorful; and the bread is crunchy on the outside while being soft on the inside. A couple of people came in for take-out pizzas, so we will have to try one at some point. Why haven't I been here before? Â Great lunch specials with delicious food.In mid-August, a group of about 8 of us visited Di Rosani'a. Â It was my first visit. Â When you arrive, you walk to right and you will see there lunch specials and New York style pizzas cut in to slices. Â You walk along to your left and order at the register. Â Your food, if not immediately available, will be brought promptly to your table. Â You get your own drinks. Â You choose your table after ordering. Â Many of the meals come with bread that others were raving. I have pizza and it quickly reminded me of our summer trip to NYC. Â The lunch specialcomes with a generous salad as well. A "to go" kinda place. Food is good. Really enjoy the linguini with the white clam sauce. But be forewarned it comes with a unique touch of red pepper added, I don't mind them but this is not a traditional expectation. The stromboli is delicious with their house sauce that is full of good flavor. However, it is inconsistently made. At times it is up to par with the meat spread throughout and other times just lumped in the middle. Stuffed mushrooms are a disappointing quantity at 4. Four isn't bad if they are the large size, but these aren't. They are delicious and I do like the sauce. The best thing are the rolls made from a pizza dough like recipe, just divine. THE CUTEST PLACE EVER! From the second I walked in for the first time I felt comfortable. You sit down and wait for your server. I was too shy to ask my server his name BUT HE WAS SO NICE and polite like you know you get normal server service when you dine in at different restaurants. But this guy was awesome! The food was brought out us super quickly! We ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken Alfredo and cheese ravioli and the chocolate cake we got was so rich in flavor, The bread was BOMB so good and fluffy! I was looking for an Italian place as I was craving my favorite dish Chicken Piccata and stumbled upon Di Rosani's and I am so glad I did too! Â This place has THE best Chicken Piccata dish I think I've ever had or at least had in a very long time. I am very particular about the Piccata sauce and Di Rosani's is about as authentic as it gets. The Owner greeted me with open arms and even gave me a beautiful Rose when I left. Not only are the Chicken dishes fantastic, their pizzas are the rave but they also serve homemade Baklava which is to die for. I think the food is excellent & the new management has done a great job giving the restaurant a homey atmosphere. We had food delivered to our hotel in Dallas through Uber Eats. All of our food (Buffalo Chicken Tenders, Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiani, Chicken Valdostana , and Caesar Salad) were sooooo good! We are so happy we ordered from here! The only reccomendation I have is sturdier plastic silverware (my knife kept bending when trying to cut my chicken parmigiani) but other than that we were very happy and will order again when we return! Great food. Suggestion though. Have other options than pasta with some meals, or at least show a list of substitutes that can take the place of spaghetti. My husband isn't fond of that and would have rather had something else. He did love the chicken being so thin instead a thick chunk of chicken breast we see every where else. I had driven by this place many times since moving to Irving and ate across the street but just finally tried it out and we were not disappointed. This is one of, if not the best Italian places in Irving/Las Colinas. The prices are really good and the quality of the meals, both lunch and dinner are fantastic. I have tried the Chicken Sunrise, lasagna, and baked ziti. The chicken sunrise is made with a delicious sherry wine sauce. The lasagna is probably my favorite. Their meat sauce is outrageously good. All meals come with garlic rolls, which look homemade and are addicting. We have also tried two desserts.  The tiramisu and a canoli . I prefer the tiramisu but both were great.
