This place is definitely above your average Italian restaurant.  The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the restaurant itself is exceptionally clean! Loved the crispy crust pizza! Very flavorful and tasty! More...

We have been here several times for "date night!" The food is amazing & the service is top notch. They always make you feel like family. It is a great family place too. The Gnocchi is fabulous. Save room for dessert! They have a nice covered patio. It is definitely worth a visit & you will want to go back! More...

A wonderful little Italian restaurant in downtown main street Irving.  Scratch recipes with real authentic Italian flavor.  The owner is great - even coming out during our meal.  The waitstaff is thoughtful and attentive. From salads and sides to great main dishes like penne alla vodka, chicken cacciatore, pasta primavera, chicken picatta, pizzas plus more - there is something everyone.  Easy parking, nice dining room, great for a date night.  Support local! Support small business! They also have delivery and it is BYOB. More...

Visiting Texas from California and found this place through yelp. The waitress was super friendly,  and turns out she use to live just a 40 mins away from where my husband and I live. It was very quick turn around from placing our order and receiving our food. Everything was very tasty especially the house made garlic rolls. More...

This local restaurant is a gem! This is the second time we have been here and both visits were outstanding! Lasagna is just like your Nonna would make; the pasta is the perfect al dente; the meat sauce is hearty and flavorful; and the bread is crunchy on the outside while being soft on the inside. A couple of people came in for take-out pizzas, so we will have to try one at some point. Service is outstanding and it's moderately priced.I hate to say this but you won't be able to put your fork down, so be prepared to be stuffed! More...

I tried to get their food but...I ordered Di Rosani's through Uber Eats and I have stupidly spent a small fortune with them. I missed my driver's call within a 6 minute window. I called him back, he didn't answer my call, and canceled my order without a refund. I called the call center, that is in India, and they refused to refund me or credit me, the rep and the supervisor. I'm out of 40 dollars and no food. So, as promised I am telling everyone I know to use another service. Hope my driver is enjoying my food. I won't use Uber or Uber Eats ever again. Maybe this place is good hope to find out one day. Why haven't I been here before?  Great lunch specials with delicious food.In mid-August, a group of about 8 of us visited Di Rosani'a.  It was my first visit.  When you arrive, you walk to right and you will see there lunch specials and New York style pizzas cut in to slices.  You walk along to your left and order at the register.  Your food, if not immediately available, will be brought promptly to your table.  You get your own drinks.  You choose your table after ordering.  Many of the meals come with bread that others were raving. I have pizza and it quickly reminded me of our summer trip to NYC.  The lunch specialcomes with a generous salad as well.  This is a delightful restaurant.I can't wait to take the family here.  I just know they will love it. A "to go" kinda place. Food is good. Really enjoy the linguini with the white clam sauce. But be forewarned it comes with a unique touch of red pepper added, I don't mind them but this is not a traditional expectation. The stromboli is delicious with their house sauce that is full of good flavor. However, it is inconsistently made. At times it is up to par with the meat spread throughout and other times just lumped in the middle. Stuffed mushrooms are a disappointing quantity at 4. Four isn't bad if they are the large size, but these aren't. They are delicious and I do like the sauce. The best thing are the rolls made from a pizza dough like recipe, just divine. Pizza is good and I like being able to get it by the slice. Lunch prices are excellent. More...

THE CUTEST PLACE EVER! From the second I walked in for the first time I felt comfortable. You sit down and wait for your server. I was too shy to ask my server his name BUT HE WAS SO NICE and polite like you know you get normal server service when you dine in at different restaurants. But this guy was awesome! The food was brought out us super quickly! We ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken Alfredo and cheese ravioli and the chocolate cake we got was so rich in flavor, The bread was BOMB so good and fluffy! Overall I had a great experience food was good, (you can tell it's not like OG,ifratelli etc)and timing but my 5 star goes to our server who was just freakin awesome. More...

I was looking for an Italian place as I was craving my favorite dish Chicken Piccata and stumbled upon Di Rosani's and I am so glad I did too!  This place has THE best Chicken Piccata dish I think I've ever had or at least had in a very long time. I am very particular about the Piccata sauce and Di Rosani's is about as authentic as it gets. The Owner greeted me with open arms and even gave me a beautiful Rose when I left. Not only are the Chicken dishes fantastic, their pizzas are the rave but they also serve homemade Baklava which is to die for. Love, love LOVE this place and advise that it is a must stop if you want some really good fresh authentic italian food, great service and a quaint comfortable atmosphere. More...

We had food delivered to our hotel in Dallas through Uber Eats. All of our food (Buffalo Chicken Tenders, Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiani, Chicken Valdostana , and Caesar Salad) were sooooo good! We are so happy we ordered from here! The only reccomendation I have is sturdier plastic silverware (my knife kept bending when trying to cut my chicken parmigiani) but other than that we were very happy and will order again when we return! Thank you! More...

I had driven by this place many times since moving to Irving and ate across the street but just finally tried it out and we were not disappointed. This is one of, if not the best Italian places in Irving/Las Colinas. The prices are really good and the quality of the meals, both lunch and dinner are fantastic. I have tried the Chicken Sunrise, lasagna, and baked ziti. The chicken sunrise is made with a delicious sherry wine sauce. The lasagna is probably my favorite. Their meat sauce is outrageously good. All meals come with garlic rolls, which look homemade and are addicting. We have also tried two desserts.  The tiramisu and a canoli . I prefer the tiramisu but both were great. Definitely a  must try for any one in the area looking for a great meal at a good price. More...

I will start with apologizing for not taking pictures.  I ordered from here because they were available on Uber Eats.  My roommate got the Lobster Ravioli and I got the New York style meatball pizza with extra sauce on the side.  For desert we got the cheese cake and Baklava.  Let's start with the tin foil in the bag.  I opened it up and there's 2 gorgeous rolls. They were glistening with butter. They melt in your mouth like butter as well.   I enjoyed dipping them in the sauce as well. Next, let's talk about that sauce. Oh my goodness!!!! That's now my favorite sauce ever.  It's so delicious.  It tastes so fresh and though I hate to use this next word for fear that it will be taken negatively, but it was simple.  The rich tomato and garlic. MmmmmmOn to that pizza. I devoured it.  Every single piece was eaten. NO CRUST LEFT BEHIND!!!! The meatballs are tasty.  Now, I'm a greedy foodie and would enjoy more meatball slices on there but it's okay.  There's nothing bad about this pizza. I didn't eat the Lobster Ravioli, but my roommate says it's the best he's ever had. It looked yummy.  I also didn't eat the cheese cake but again, he said it is very good.  On to the Baklava!!! It was slightly warm and now my favorite.  Theirs was so much better than any Baklava I have ever ever EVER tasted. I will be going here and dining in soon.  I want to try out some spaghetti and meatballs SOON! More...

Being from the east coast, I have high standards for Italian food. I've been eating Italian food my entire life and can't find a single spot in Texas that's relatively good. We sat outside on a wonderful spring night..... the atmosphere was great! The rolls are amazing! His entree was phenomenal, chicken marsala. Our server was lovely! I had lasagna which I didn't love, because to me it wasn't really lasagna, so he polished it off and was a happy camper.I will still visit because, aside from my lasagna, the rest was yummy and the service was great! Di Rosani's is a fine restaurant for casual Italian dining. The portions are large, the staff was friendly and the restaurant is clean. I had a couple of minor complaints. Their sign says "Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar". They do not serve any wine or beer. My server asked if I wanted my salad dressing on the side and I said yes. The salad was served with the dressing on it, and it had an overpowering, strong flavor. I actually did not care for the dressing--it was supposed to be an Italian vinaigrette, but it was not, and it detracted from the salad, in my opinion. More...

I found myself in old downtown Irving on business and needed lunch when it was done. I was thinking about somewhere else but my parking spot was right in front of Di Rosani's.  It looked interesting so I thought I'd give it a try.  I'm glad I did. It's not fancy or expensive, just good neighborhood food.  The interior looks like it's either a brand new restaurant or it has been remodeled recently.  Either way, it looks very nice. Very clean and roomy. Seating is comfortable, i'd even say above average. The guy behind the counter was friendly and attentive to my needs and wants. The kitchen area looked clean and organized. The pizza by the slice that was displayed showed the slices to be huge. I ordered the lunch combo. Pasta (I chose spaggetti ) a salad and a drink.  The salad was not pre-prepared, you get to tell him what you want on it. It's nice not having to pick off stuff you don't like. The pasta was served with bread that looked like a small loaf. The bread was lite and fluffy and appeared to have a glaze of butter or oil. The pasta was good. I won't say amazing because it wasn't, but like I said, this is not a high dollar, foodie kind of place. But for a neighborhood Italian restaurant, it was very good.  As an extra suprise, since it's just a few days before Christmas, at the end of my meal they brought me a small gift bag that had a couple of Lindor Chocolates in it.  How often does something like that happen. Nice!!! More...

We ate here last night and I was pleasantly surprised by our experience! South Irving isn't known for having great restaurant options - but this place was very enjoyable. Supreme Pizza (added jalapenos) - the large is huge! My parents enjoyed it quite a bit, although they said they would omit the jalapenos next time because they were a bit too spicy for them.Penne alla Vodka - very good and flavorfulChicken Francaise - also very good - VERY lemon-y! I love citrus so this was not a problem for me -  but it could be a bit much for others.Shrimp fra Diavlo - my brother had this and also enjoyed it quite a bit - nice amount of heatJoe was a great server - very attentive and informative. One downside is that no alcohol is served. :/ More...

I am so glad my parents told me about the place!! The pizza slices are huge and the dough is the perfect thickness. I also like the sauce because it has a bit of a tangy flavor. I really wanted to like this place since we really need some good places to eat in downtown Irving but if you actually like pasta in your pasta dish, steer clear.  I ordered my food to go with stuffed mushrooms as a starter and lunch lasagna to go with it.  The mushrooms were very small and drowned in a sauce that tasted more like Campbell's condensed tomato soup than what I would have expected for the price.  Next the lasagna, well I am including a picture but there was no pasta to the lasagna.  The picture shows what I got... 1 1/2 inch edge of pasta on each side of a mix of meat and cheese (no layers) with a thick top of mozzarella cheese.  Make certain you're not lactose intolerant.  Sorry Rosani but I sadly just wouldn't go back to see you. :( More...

Not sure where a prior review stated a microwave is used to prepare food and the rolls are possibly store bought. I've been eating here since they opened and the food is delicious. The pizza is a real pie like in Brooklyn or Queens NY. The calimari is light and delicious with just a squeeze of lemon to add even more flavor. My go to is the eggplant parmigiana every time I dine. Big thick strips of eggplant, thick tomato sauce and tons of hot melted cheese. Simply delicious. My daughter loves the penne a la vodka and stuffed mushrooms. The owner Gino visits with the customers and is a really funny guy. If you're from the East Coast you'll love his directness and sense of humor. If not, just enjoy your food and realize that what your there for. Will I be back, heck ya. It's like being back in NY for an hour very time I go. More...
