I am so happy I chose Kamal at Dhol Toronto Entertainment to be my mehndi DJ. He did an incredible job at the mehndi djing and playing the dhol. He’s great at transitioning from song to song. Everyone had a great time on the open dance floor. He is professional and always quick to respond to any questions I had leading up to the mehndi. I had a meeting with him prior to the event where he not only went over his DJ style, but offered me helpful suggestions. Dhol Toronto Entertainment provided a violin and dhol performance at my sister's wedding reception that was an unforgettable experience for myself and the rest of the guests. EVERYONE loved the performance, and put the reception onto a whole other level. Kamal from DTE was the dhol player for the event and always promptly answered my e-mails and ensured that all requests for the performance was met. I have worked with Kamal & the Dhol Toronto team on various weddings (I am a wedding planner & coordinator) and they have always been a delight. Questions are answered in a timely manner, always on time for setting up etc. And the DJ service is one of the better ones we've used in the GTA (all kinds of music) they are able to judge the dance floor well and respond to them, which is vital. Guests are on the floor till the end. Dhol services are Amazing too! We've even had kamal play dhol in conjunction with a bagpiper once, and it went great! Highly recommend, you wont be sorry! I met Kamal at a couple of other events and I wanted to make sure I hire the best of the best and trust me when I say, that he is definitely the best! Kamal is defiantly easy to work with, super reliable, flexible (knowing that events may not start at the exact time) and more importantly, his work is amazing! He does follow up calls/texts to 1-2 weeks before the event and on the day off to make sure everything on my end is going smoothly and more importantly if there are any time changes etc.Everyone loved how Kamal was able to capture the crowd’s attention by playing the Dhol and how he was able to get the crowd involved!Thanks again Kamal for everything!Umer More...

OOOOOOOMG.I went to a wedding where this guy was the DJ, and it was probably THE BEST wedding DJ everrrr. I never stay past 12 at weddings but. ..here...just couldn't help myself. It was an "Indian wedding" so it incorporated a blend of top 40 and whatever else an Indian wedding probably has. (I'm not South Asian so I don't know haha.) + BOMBASS SPEAKERS that make you feel like you're at a rave+ LIGHTS and special fx if you need it (strobe lights/fog, costs extra doe; gotta say... it looked REALLLY nice)+ DJ KAMAL plays the dhol (drums) and it was actually really amazing, not gimmicky and really got the crowd going. His assistant is at the deck sometimes because of that and unlike some DJs that just "PUSH PLAY" these guys read the crowd (quite a mix) and kept the party going :) + GREAT BEATS ALL NIGHT so no weird transition to some slow song all of a sudden!!! DJs that actually know how to DJ... everything was seamless.+ SO good the kids next door crashed this wedding to danceThe ONLY criticism is that a handful of songs definitely got repeated but nothing terrible. ;) 11/10 would recommend. The dhol performance provided by Kamal Singh at our baraat was amazing. He had everyone dancing. He even provided a singing performance and executed a dance battle between our family and friends! This was very unique for a baraat and was a modern twist to our traditional ceremony. He went over and above our expectations while providing his services at a very reasonable price. Kamal was our favourite vendor by far. Extremely professional. Always replies quickly and with great detail. A pleasure to work with! His Dhol playing skills were complimented by all. Brought the event to life. On the event day as a DJ he seamlessly arranged all music with the exact cues. He left no dead time and even had music for those awkward short times when people are walking up to do their speech.it was a pleasure to listen to it all. At the end of the night had everyone dancing. Even family members I had never seen on the dance floor! Even as a bride on the day of I was constantly struck by how perfect the music was.
