What an excellent service from D Haynes Roofing. It was only a small job, but Dave was very quick to respond to my phone enquiry about replacing a fallen tile, and also checking for other loose tiles around two velux windows. He called to check out the work needed, and to provide a very fair quote. The job was completed within two days. No fuss, no mess and now I have peace of mind that my roof is safe and sound. Great price, these lads really take pride in there work, when speaking to Dave about the job he was very knowledgeable. And put my mind at ease, The quotes I’ve had off other roofers did not go through with me the detailing of the tiles we had to use like Dave did. And to be quite frankly the remedy of one of the other quotes was very comical. Dave’s team managed to complete the work in very heavy raining conditions. What I think is just outstanding. New slates on a 130 year old roof after repairs to the water damaged rafters, installed a Velux window, lead work to dormer cheeks and bay window the slates put on by Jock and James looks great and its a relief to know that its structurally sound for the next 130 years. From the first point of contact with Dave we found him to be polite and easy to talk toAt quote he was honest & on time when many never even turned up! He seemed very genuine & his manner was very friendly- not pushy in the slightest. We needed a new flat roof doing but also had a leak in our house roof during to a cracked tile. He offered to replace this and fix anything else he saw whilst up there should we choose him. He was the only roofer to take me up and show me why our roof was leaking. He left roof samples behind for us to research too which none else did. (We had around 9 quotes) he explained why he would use certain materials and sent over a quote promptly. When we had a few questions he was happy to spend 20 mins on the phone answering them. His pricing was very good, & he stood out from the rest which was why we chose him. He also managed to source better quality materials than he quoted us for, on offer rather than keeping the difference. Dave & his team completed the new roof today, to a very high standard. Today I have possibly have had the pleasure of 3 top quality tradesman working on my flat roofs. All really polite and knowledgeable guys and clearly take pride in every tiny detail of the work they do and clean and tidy with it. Dave came out and assessed the job and gave me choices of what materials would suit best, and was extremely knowledgeable about all options, quote was unbeatable and quick in returning to me and was booked in for the work and they turned up when agreed. After noticing some damage to our roof, we called Dave for advice and a quote to fix it. He came out the same day to assess the roof. After showing me a video he made of the assessment of the loose tiles, he gave a very reasonable offer and I felt confidence in him. We booked the repair and on the morning of the day he turned up well on time and finished on time just as he promised. It really is so nice to meet a tradesman who is just genuine and keeps to his word. He did a great job too, he showed us photos of the repair, and we are very pleased indeed. Top quality and very Professional service. They came out to check my guttering the same day after calling them about a leak and fixe it straight away. The best part of it is, that they did it free of charge as it was a quick simple fix (under 1hour) after explaining that the leak was cause by bad previous installation done by rogue trader I used.
