Fabulous food- definitely recommend the exquisite biriyani. Fresh,distinctive yet delicately spiced rice with soft tasty chicken. Completely delicious and one of the best I’ve had. Absolutely first class. We spent the day at Battersea Park and wanted to find a good Indian/Pakistani restaurant and this had great reviews. Decor is great, loved the Sholay picture. I ordered the Vegetation Thali which was delicious. The saag paneer, especially, was great - smokey taste and not doused in spices or oil. Chana was also nice as was the daal. Went there with the family and was highly surprised and delighted with the quality of the cooking. The service was very attentive, cheerful and gave us some useful suggestions. Always do takeout from this place and dine in with friends and family regularly. There menu is not the old traditional Indian oily greasy food. They dont use ghee. I went here with a group of friends for a birthday meal. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly (and made an extra effort to ensure that my friends with a baby were well looked after). It's also very reasonably priced and the food seemed particularly fresh.
