Came up for a friend's funeral. I used to live in Glasgow, so knew the location well. Very reasonable rates for such a great location and the free parking was a bonus. Room was warm, bed was a bit bouncy but was comfortable enough. Shower was hot. Room was clean, and we appreciated the black out curtains. Breakfast was a bit of a let down (cold plates, food tasted like it was cooked in old oil and the sausages were rubbish.). Must admit after reading recent reviews we were a bit sceptical but overall a pretty good hotel. Room was warm comfy (pillows flat though) had been modernised. Just small parts like bath was dated . Had everything you needed, iron, hairdresser, etc. Well worth what we paid and free parking is a bonus although I think there is about 20 spaces but is not for the faint hearted but my partner parked in one of the last spaces which are tight so all good. A gentlement who worked there reversed a car out for guests which was really nice . Be aware you will need to provide ID. We would definitely stay here again although breakfast let it down a bit . We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We stayed 3 days and thought it was good value. They at least provide shower gel/ shampoo and a little soap. Towels and linen were clean and housekeeping staff friendly. Location is fab near good restaurants. We went to Gregg's for brekkie which is only round the corner. Kelvingrove Park is also round the corner for a nice walk and we walked to the SSE Hydro which was close too. Also buses are regular into the city centre. More...

Quite nice hotel ... nice friendly staff .. the room was clean spacious , the bathroom was fine , easy check in and out .. . no loud street noises in my room, good for a friday night .. near some great restaurants .. and not dear.. so for the price very good ... 1 star off because parking not the greatest and if you can't get parked in the car park .. might be annoying and the lane to needs work ... great hotel for the price ... Comfortable, and decent prices for a solo traveler. It is nice to be close to a park! The park also provides easy access to the Kelvin Walkway, which in turn will take you to the West Highland Way!

Excellent location. Staff very friendly. Room clean and tidy.We stayed here as we had tickets for the Hydro. Hotel is just along the road from the Kelvingrove Museum, Kelvingrove Bandstand and just around the corner from many pubs and restaurants.

I booked this hotel the wrong way round as in, booked it, then checked it out on here. Having seen the reviews, I was a little worried about what kind of place I’d booked. |I am so glad it turned out to be so far away from most of the reviews I had read! |I have found this to be a great little hotel! |From check in to check out, I have had nothing really to complain about especially as I only paid £35!!! Bargain! Can’t comment on breakfast though as I missed it, entirely my fault. I will say though, when I went to double check the breakfast times and was told I’d missed it, they did offer to have some coffee and toast sent up to my room, super impressed with that! If I had to be really picky and complain about something then I would say that the higher up dusting needs more attention. I was in a room on the 3rd floor. The light shade and picture rail around the room needed a good dust. Cleaning wise, it was otherwise spotless in my room. My only other issue was that they need to invest in new mattresses and pillows. The mattress was a little on the spongy side for my liking BUT I did have a good nights sleep. Would I stay here again. Stayed here for a gig, perfect location, room was great for the money that we paid. Tiny bit noisy as our room was right on the street but nothing that detracted from our stay, especially when we were just here for the gig we went to. Definitely stay again!

Fab hotel, lovely breakfast, spot on, only problem was electricity which is used by card, having to take it out for lights to go off so no electricity during the night to charge phones, but apart from that would definitely recommend, very central, easy walking distance to the hydro for gigs

As this is a budget hotel, my expectations for our stay were not high, but we were pleasantly surprised! Great value for money, our room was modern, clean and had a spacious bathroom. The room was spotlessly clean and despite being small, it had everything we needed. Netflix on the tv was an added bonus. ||Location was excellent for a concert in the hydro arena and lots of restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was okay, nothing spectacular but had everything you could want. Staff at reception could be a tad friendlier but were okay all the same.||If I was to return to Glasgow for another concert I would definitely rebook this hotel! More...

Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind begrenzt (kleiner Parkplatz im Hinterhof - nicht asphaltierte und sehr holprige Straße und eine kleine Kurzparkbucht davor). Sehr nettes und gut verständliches Personal. Außerdem ein ausgewogenes Frühstücksbuffet im Nachbar Hotel.
