My two daughters and myself went to a wedding this weekend and I can't tell you what a wonderful job the team  at Detangled did on our hair and makeup! !First off,  I can't thank them enough for accommodating to our times and getting all of us done within the time frame we needed. This is by far the Best salon I've ever been to!!Donna the owner is my stylist. I made an appointment here one day based on such good reviews. I have never had such perfect color that lasts and lasts or such a fabulous hair cut. My hair is wavey,curly,frizzy. I can never get a cute cut, until I came here. I showed her a picture, she said what we could do to get that look and I went home with the cutest hair cut I've ever had. And amazingly it was Exactly what I'd hoped for. I have spent most of my adult life living out west, upon returning to the area I really needed to find a quality salon. My cousin and friends all know the owner of Detangled, Donna who is a complete sweetheart and that is why I chose the salon. On my first visit Holly helped removed some extensions that were amateurly put in my hair, she also trimmed and angled my hair. I loved the cut so much I returned on NYE and had Holly cut about 3.5 inches off, I was nervous but again completely happy and satisfied with her work. I am so glad that a family member stumbled upon Donna and introduced me to her and Detangled Salon! I had a really great experience the first time I went there. I got 6 inches cut off and an Ombre color applied. It turned out GREAT!! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since coming here. The staff is super friendly. It seems like a well oiled machine. It was pretty much the first time that I've gone to a new salon where I actually wanted to make the follow up appointment right away. Somebody else said it's a hidden gem - it is! It's located in a very unassuming plaza off of Route 70 on your way back to Philly. But don't let the exterior fool you - it's a top notch salon. I made an appointment here on a Saturday afternoon because I wanted to come in that day and this place was really close. I was assigned the stylist Holly. She was very sweet and nice, and patiently listened and talked with me about my hair and the cut and style (trying a new style and shorter hair) and looked at all the pictures I showed her before doing anything.I was very pleased with my cut and new hairstyle. I will return when I need a trim and would like to get hair coloring here in the future also. I had not been to a hair salon in years, my hair was very neglected and straggly but I felt much at ease here.I loved the way the place was decorated, and I got a $10 discount for being a new customer. Nice experience, thank you Holly!Update: My 2nd visit here was even better than the first! Holly gave me a total new look with a short haircut that I love. Donna and her team are AMAZING! I was a bride who doesn't wear a ton of makeup, so bridal makeup made me nervous. I had seen her makeup on 2 other brides I knew who are just like me, and they looked amazing and beautiful on their wedding days! That made it that much easier for me to call her up and see if she was available. Her team listens to what you want, and make you feel right at home when you're in their chair! They'll also make suggestions so you can get the exact look you are looking for! My girls looked amazing, and my mom and mother-in-law looked beautiful! Even better? Donna's team was so accommodating that they used my sister-in-law's makeup on her face because of her lifestyle choice! No questions asked! Dasha is awesome! She asked me what exactly I wanted and listened to what I said. I asked for a cut but without taking off the length and she did a fantastic job! I also got the conditioner treatment which my hair definitely needed and i would recommend anyone to spend the extra $10 for the conditioning treatment. Talk about a hidden gem!! I have driven past Detangled hundreds of times and never noticed it was there. It wasn't until an amazing Living Social deal brought me in for highlights that I discovered an amazing salon hidden in plain sight! Holly is my new go-to stylist for highlights. She did a great job making my already naturally blonde hair lighter and brighter for the summer. It's easy to make blonde highlights too chunky or streaky, but Holly did the most delicate job. Donna did an AMAZING job on myself, 4 bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom at my May 2016 wedding. She was able to come to the hotel that I was staying and set up early in the morning in order to accommodate my wedding party size. She was great to work with from start to finish- for my trial she made me feel super comfortable- very personable and friendly. She added two extra assistants (for free ) to come and help to get my wedding party done before my first look.
My makeup and hair lasted the whole day and looked flawless from start to end (even with all the crazy dancing throughout the night). She made my wedding morning very special, bringing laughter and fun to the getting ready part of the day.
Donna is truly an expert and is worth every penny! I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family and would use her again if I needed to get my hair/makeup done! More...

I wish that I could give Detangled more than 5 stars because they deserve it! I just had my wedding make-up and hair done through them and it came out fantastic! Donna the owner went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. The hair and makeup stayed put with a veil for the entre night even after hugging, kissing and dancing with everyone. Just found my new salon. I went there with a Living Social voucher I purchased, and it was worth every penny. Christina highlighted and cut my hair. She was extremely friendly and helpful when deciding what to do with my hair. The owner is very nice as well. They were doing some remodeling, but it didn't bother me one bit. Best salon I've been to since moving to South Jersey. I've tried out a handful of salons and was never blown away by the stylist or the salon itself. I knew as soon as I walked in the door and met Chelsea that I'd be a return customer. There's truly a reason why this salon has 5 stars on yelp.  I was looking for cut and color asap and found this salon on yelp and figured i'll give it a try.  While the plaza the salon is on is not the most inviting, the salon itself is bright, airy, and clean with high ceilings and awesome decor.  Everyone here is so friendly and not pretentious, which I love after visiting various other salons in Cherry Hill.  Their prices are very reasonable for all their services.  I had Lauren color/cut my hair and she did a great job.  I am going back to see her again next week. I came to this place after seeing it on living social for a hair cut and color/highlights. My hair dresser was Lia and she did an amazing job! I have very log hair and every timeI get a hair cut the stylist always goes scissor happy, but not Lia, she cut it exactly how I wanted it. As for the color, it was a bit difficult because I previously used boxed dye, but Lia worked effortlessly to get my hair exactly how I wanted.I would definitely recommend this place, it has a very chic vibe, extremely friendly staff and owner and they will do anything to make you happy! I starting to work with Kristin a year before my wedding and she was terrific from day one! She was so patient with me during my trial and really listened to what I envisioned for my day.

Her and Lia did hair and makeup on my wedding day for me, my bridal party, and close family members. Everyone looked beautiful and we got so many amazing compliments. Kristin did my hair and makeup, and also helped me stay calm and relaxed the entire time.

A friend of mine had suggested this salon for hair/make up for my wedding.  Donna was absolutely amazing!!  I live on Long Island so it was a bit of a trip for me, but totally worth it.  During my trial, Donna was great to work with and made adjustments where I wanted.  She was able to perfectly replicated a picture I showed her of how I wanted my hair.  The day of the wedding, her and Lia were on time and super professional.  All of my bridal party and my mother loved how their hair and make up came out.  I felt so beautiful on the day of my wedding and I am so incredibly happy with the way Donna did my hair and make up.  She is a true professional who knows what she is doing!  I would highly recommend!! I could never thank nor recommend Kristin, and other staff at Detangled Salon enough. They were truly a huge part of my wedding and made everyone look fantastic. Detangled was amazing! One of my friends from college recommended them so I reached out to Donna and from that moment on, they were great! I live on Long Island, so it was a bit of a trek for both parties, but the girls did an excellent job. I drove to NJ one day for my trial with Donna. She was so super patient and worked with me to recreate things from the pictures I had picked out. She worked to make it right by me, which was so nice and I definitely felt comfortable asking her to make a few changes-- her salon is super cute. Donna is a true expert/professional. She knows how to do everything and she seems like a perfectionist!

I had 3 bridesmaids and my mom get hair and makeup done by the salon. Donna and Lia came to my house on the morning of the wedding, set everything up in the dining room and did amazing work. They created a schedule for us about a week before the wedding with detailed times so everyone knew exactly what time they were getting what done. It really helped to keep the flow of the day going and kept us all on time. Most importantly, all the girls thought they did an amazing job! a friend had suggested this salon for my wedding. They did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations.  They came to the wedding venue which I loved, that way I wasn't running around stressing about being on time. I went here for the first time today and loved everything about this salon. Donna the owner was very nice and Michele did a great job on my keratin treatment. She also gave me a complimentary hand and arm massage while I was processing. Detangled offers complimentary flat ironing for the two days following your keratin. After 72 hours they will wash out the treatment and blow dry your hair - for free!I've paid a lot more at high end places that never offered the follow up services. Detangled is a spacious and laid back salon with no drama. I love that I can relax while getting pampered with out loud annoying music and high pressure atmosphere. I'll definitely be back. More...
