I've been going to Destination Wellness Center for about two months now and cannot say enough great things about the office and it's professionals. The office is always super cozy and clean. I get both my alignments and acupuncture done there and always feel 100 times better as soon as I walk out thanks to Dr. Allen and his team. I did not realize how much pain I was in until Dr. Allen provided me with some much needed relief. My lower back pain is improving, and shockingly. .. my shoulder issue (which I thought was the result of a small muscular tear) is drastically improved with some extra work he has done. It was not on my radar to even ask or seek help from him on this issue, but a thorough consultation during my first appointment uncovered some treatment options. Dr. Dhaliwal and his assistant, Roxanne, were very kind and interested in finding a treatment, for the pain I had been experiencing for some time. Through thorough examination and my responses to his questions, Dr. Dhaliwal found an effective, quick acting solution to my pain in one visit. I have now been in treatment with Dr. Allen for about 6 months. I am a dental hygienist and started seeing him when I was 17 weeks pregnant to prevent work related pain with my growing belly. He specializes in prenatal chiropractic treatment and made me feel comfortable having adjustments done while pregnant. During my entire pregnancy I was pain free and was able to work until the very end. Not only was I comfortable but I believe that having my spine aligned helped with a speedy delivery. (1.5 hours!!) This was my first appt with Dr. Allen and I was pleasantly surprised. Although it was my first with him I have been to numerous Chiroprators in the past, trying to ease the pain in my back and have a better understanding of what the issues are. Dr. Allen was the first who really explained in detailed the treatment he will be giving me as well as why we would be doing certain things and what areas would be effected. Every question I had he answered, without me feeling rushed or on a time restraint. Just starting going to Dr Allen last week. He promptly saw me with very little notice. It’s a lovely spa like office. Soft music playing and aromatherapy throughout office. Relaxing from the first hello. Dr Allen is thorough in explaining your issue in a very methodical way. No surprises during the adjustment.
