First of all, this review is long overdue...my wife and I got married in December at one of the beachfront hotels in North Miami. We were very inexperienced in general when it came to party planning, and we didn't know exactly what we wanted in terms of decorations, colors, etc. The hotel recommended "Designs with Art" and said they had worked with them before, so we setup a meeting with Flor at her office. She was very friendly and we got the impression right away that she knew flowers and was very good at what she did. Flor showed us some pictures of weddings she had done previously, and I have to tell you I was amazed at how beautiful everything looked. We were able to get some great ideas from looking through the photos and Flor answered all of our questions and put us very much at ease. She has very high standards when it comes to the quality of the flowers that she provides, and we were so excited to find out she would be ordering our flowers from South America because they are the most beautiful and better than what can be sourced locally. The flowers on our wedding arch and the decorations on the guests' chairs looked so nice, but when we walked into the reception area after the wedding and I saw all that blue on the tables (yes, gorgeous blue flowers !) and how everything looked more perfect than I could have imagined it would, I was so incredibly happy. This day was absolutely wonderful and all of our guests commented on how beautiful everything looked...and our pictures just look amazing. The food, music and service from the hotel was all top notch, and seven months later no one mentions any of that, but they are still talking about how beautiful the flowers were. Flor is simple amazing. She is an expert when it comes to flowers, floral design, and decor. She was always easy to reach and welcomed my crazy changes throughout the entire process. I literally showed her a picture off Pinterest of how I wanted my centerpieces and tables to look. Wah Lah! Let's just say the met my expectations and then some. Everything was beautiful. Flor was an angel and God-sent. Her name suits her perfectly (flower). She is an expert and pro when it comes to flowers and designs. She was a pleasure to work with. She was readily available. I went to her show room multiple time and each time she dedicated plenty of time to my question and concerns. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was how i wanted it. She even offered to stay longer at the venue to ensure the place was decorated and placed properly. My flowers were GORGEOUS, exactly like the pictures I showed her. My bouquet was TO DIE for. She made sure to understand what we wanted, made wonderful suggestions and really worked with us to make sure everything was just like we imagined.When choosing our pieces, there was a very big variety of flowers, vases, and decorations to choose from so we were able to find exactly what we wanted. We had a very specific color scheme and design in mind which we were able to achieve. Flor from Designs with Art is an amazing floral designer. I went into her shop for a consultation having absolutely no idea what I wanted and she was very patient and helpful in suggesting things I might like. She allowed me to make changes several times without any problems and was very understanding about my uncertainties. We had a beach wedding so I wanted very simple decorations and our centerpieces were beautiful, as well as our bouquets. Flor and everyone at this company are very intelligent in their insight on how to make things simple and elegant. I came in there with an idea and with their help I was able to cover all my bases for my wedding.
