I was recommended to Design Solutions Architecture Ltd. and within minutes of meeting Simon, my partner and I knew we were in good hands. Simon advised my partner and I of work he had done in the local area so we had real time references for his work, and of course I went and had a nosey, who wouldn't?! His work was first class and viewing the final project up close and personal was really beneficial and reassuring for us. When we received the working drawings on A1 we were blown away, they looked absolutely incredible and when we've shown trades the drawings either on PDF via an iPhone or hard copy, they've always received the wow factor - And that's all Simon's work, I'm taking no credit at all. Simon talked us through each stage of the process clearly and methodically, telling us how he wanted us to work with him to make the process more streamlined and how best to reduce any delays. Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council's planning department were quite slow with their internal processes and that was disappointment, but there was nothing Simon could do, although he did write to them on our behalf to give them a polite nudge on a couple of occasions, which clearly did the trick and we got the desired outcome. Simon is more like a mate when he calls now and it's important he should know that the kettle is always on should he want to pop by for a chat. Wes was very helpful from the first call, when we asked about extension possibilities for a house we planned to buy. When we were ready to go ahead Wes gave us very clear costs and timescales and produced some great designs that were practical with creative touches that we hadn’t considered. He handled planning and building regs. with great efficiency and always replied very quickly to calls and emails. I was referred to Simon Oates after an online enquiry and I’m so pleased with his personal, friendly and professional assistance in drawing up plans for my proposed ground floor extension. He invited me on site to other projects so that I could see and understand the technicalities of my project, and introduced me to the builder and kitchen designer making this a one-stop project without having to search high and low for other suppliers. Simon at Design Solutions Architecture Ltd has made the process of obtaining a set of useable building regulation drawings to our needs very straight forward and explained every step of the way. We have been delighted with his work and could not recommend him high enough! He split the process down into 3 key stages and gave a great explanation as to what each of these would entail, the cost of each stage and also the timeframe.
