To start the tasting alone was spectacular. We did not need to shop around anymore after that, we knew it was delicious and felt good about it. Leading up to the event they were very helpful with providing us with bartenders and servers as well as finding us rentals. The day of our wedding we couldn’t have been more thrilled. The professional service and quality of food was perfect. All of the food was great but the short rib in particular was a hit!! It was worth the extra few bucks a plate. Thank you for catering our Chaberton Staff BBQ. Food was fabulous. Everything was super tasty and nicely presented. 57 adults and numerous kids and not one complaint! This company is incredible, working with many of their staff, Annette, and the Chef Marcel. Their creativity and passion for their food and service is pure quality. They are extremely attentive, helpful, passionate and super kind! The food will NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! I did extensive research with catering companies in the lower mainland and this one shows the most promise. Not only is the food out of this world, good quality, creative, and has excellent presentation, the price is incredible comparatively to other companies that I came into contact with. I was really happy with the service design by desire provided. They were able to help us out at vey short notice when our original caterer backed out. For me, I really appreciated that you were able to accommodate my dietary needs. The feedback I got from guests was all positive as well, one person said it was the best roast beef they had ever had! My biggest complaint is that after our tasting, we were so excited for the food and when it came to the wedding day, we didn't get to eat enough. I highly recommend Design by Desire Catering for any event that you may be hosting. I just got married two weeks ago and we selected Design by Desire for our catered lunch. Marcel and his team were very professional and friendly. We selected their lunch buffet menu and everything was delicious and very nicely presented. They are a wonderful catering service. Not only is the food outstanding, but they are so accommodating, helpful and quick to get back to you about any questions or concerns you may have. They did an amazing job in catering our son's wedding reception. Catering doesn't get better than this. They come to your house to do a free tasting dinner which was great for us, too. Marcel was amazing from beginning to end! We booked design by desire for our wedding this September and our guests(as well as my husband and I) were blown away by the food! I had compliments from even the pickiest of our guests!!! I was also very happy with the professional and friendly manner in which we were treated throughout the planning process, during the event and after!! Design by Desire Delivers!! Marcel and his staff are beyond amazing! From helping in the selection of the menu to the flavour and presentation of the food, everything was on point. Every single detail was covered to help make our wedding so perfect! The food was delicious, especially the steak medallions - cooked to medium rare - exactly how we wanted. The s'mores bar was a huge hit for our rustic outdoor wedding. Highly recommend it! As the cost of a wedding is huge nowadays, it was really important that we kept to a budget, and Marcel really helped us with that. We also used there bar tending service and we had an outstanding bar tender!
