He was quick to respond and was prepared with a variety of playlists, suggested music and reception time lines that really took the worry out of one less thing. Ryan was an amazing DJ and great to work with. He provided us with a list of songs so we could choose ones we wanted and he could get a taste of what we wanted. We also gave him a mix we did for the wedding and he was able to play that. During the reception he kept it moving along and go everyone on the dance floor. He also took requests from the guests which was awesome- we did a dance off between the adults and kids which was awesome and the best part we got it all on video. We recently hired DJ Frank with High Desert DJ to dj our wedding and could not be any happier with the quality of service we received. DJ Frank was extremely professional and met up with us multiple times before the wedding to make sure he had a full understanding of our vision and direction. The day of our wedding he showed up early and went straight into getting everything setup, even though I was running behind ;-). During the reception DJ Frank did a wonderful job at keeping our guest entertained and engaged. He did a great job keeping the flow of the party going while making sure to hit every one of our wedding event request (ie. first dance, shoe game, cutting of the cake...) even with all of our last minute changes. We also included the photo booth with our services which turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the night. The quality of the pictures and the custom designed film strip to match our wedding exceeded our expectations. To top it all off the excellent staff working the booth really helped with keeping the line moving and kept our guest ready to take more pictures. CharmandHappy com hired High Dessert DJ (Frank) for a nationwide chain restaurant Family Fun Day Event in Victorville. His professional set-up including arriving early enough to start on time without delay, added speakers as requested, professional sounding announcements with personality and accommodating our schedule of events were applauded. We had Paul DJ our wedding at the Corona Yacht Club in November! Paul was there with another DJ, (so there were two of them), so he could communicate with us and keep our timeline going smooth. He gave us a form to fill out with music preferences and which songs to play during specific events. Me and my husband are big music lovers and like most everything, but are more into alternative/indie rock, and he was able to play everything we requested. The whole set up was really nice looking and he even put uplights around the venue for us. He had a separate set-up for our ceremony and did wonderful with that as well. Trevor and the team with Desert DJ performed at my wedding in May! I say performed because it wasn't one guy with his computer and some speakers. They had the full set up! Lights, big speakers and a lovely set up for their booth!! Also they were a two man team!! There was the gentleman in charge of the music and then Trevor was the MC for the evening! He was fully in charge of keeping everything moving and getting the guests on the dance floor!! He was completely open to any and all ideas we had when it came to introducing the wedding party!! The two of them worked together the whole evening to work in requests and really make it the best for everyone! It really was a performance! About 3 months before the wedding he gave us a packet to fill out giving him an idea of what kind of music to play and what was off limits! That, I think, was totally awesome and the playlist they put together was PERFECT!! We had so many compliments on how they covered a lot of different styles while still making it all flow! They also offer a photo booth to rent and that was such a blast!!! They brought props and a backdrop and they also included a photo book for a copy of each photo taken! The guests were able to write a little something by their picture in the book too! All in all, they were everything my hubby and I could have ever wanted for our special day!! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
For me, it's about the classic dance hits that the majority of the crowd know. Sometimes they can be silly but it's those songs that keep people happy. If there is a bigger crowd on the dance floor that are requesting songs, I will certainly play those songs, as long as it doesn't intrude on the person who hired me song requests.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
It depends on the event. For weddings, it can be very serious, yet professional appearance that ensures the night goes as planned and for birthdays it can be a fun, relaxed event that the guests will happy with. I am pretty good about reading a crowd and taking direction from guests as to what they want to hear, as long as it keeps the party going...
What do you love most about your job?
When people are having a great time while I'm DJing, I take love to know that I'm doing my job correctly!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been inspired by music growing-up and playing several instruments. DJing just came natural and my music taste is all over the place. To me, being a DJ is tough work that I love doing.

People should choose me because I actually REALLY do care on how their event goes. I have a passion about DJing at events no matter the size. I take it very serious to know that everyone will be happy with my services.
