Not sure what the complains were about but my son and I visited from California and we had a lot of fun playing this course. Sure it was a little slow at times, that's because there were other people who also want to play golf. If you tend to be wild off the tee you may not want to play this course. It is narrow and doesn't offer a ton of forgiveness but it also allows you to play smaller clubs like 3 woods and long irons. My only minor gripe is the cost. 79 bucks at2pm on a weekday tee time does seem a bit much. I would say 50-60 is more reasonable. But the gal in the pro shop was really nice and the employees around the course were cool. The greens rolled pretty good but by 4pm it was obvious that they just had a lot of feet trampling them from all the days foot traffic. That's not the Course's fault. This course is well kept and I really enjoyed the fact that the bunkers were raked and that the fairways were so green. I've played some serious dog tracks in California, this was a nice course that we enjoyed playing. If you don't expect to find TPC Scottsdale, and you don't mind a four hour round, you'll enjoy yourself on this course. Peace and knock them stiff. More...

Great experience. Marshal asked if I had played there before and I had not. He took the time for a couple minute briefing about the course. It has VERY narrow fairways and a little water. First-time guests at Desert Pine Golf Club. We had the best time with family I golfed with my niece Jennifer after the first nine she started to outdrive me, and had the only birdie of the day. This place is amazing! Set up a tee time a week in advance. Super easy and affordable. Super close to Fremont Street. Arrived early and was happy to learn a few balls at the range were included in fees. Score! Bag drop set us up in the cart and had us ready to roll before I finished paying. course was in great condition. fairways and greens are well manicured and maintained. love the extra deep sand traps! truly a challenge. cart was great- clean and shiny. i was intrigued by the idea of golf boards and like that as an option, although a bit pricey for the add on. Absolutely fantastic! Volunteering at Rock the Pines concert for Love Hope Strength was wonderful and made my heart HAPPY! 15 potential life saving donors were added to the marrow registry! Played 18 holes with my Dad’s lefty set of clubs on Sunday after show...wonderful! I will make this a regular stop in Las Vegas when in town!
