We used Desert Lake Gardens for our wedding at the Tett Centre and we couldn't have been happier! The food is absolutely amazing, we received so many compliments on the food, and the staff was so kind and friendly. Our wedding was catered by Desert Lake Gardens on August 18th. Lia was great to work with and I really admired her passion for local food, a vibe that we wanted at our wedding. The guests absolutely raved about the food. The servers were great and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the bartenders. We hired bartenders through her and everyone loved them. They were upbeat and fun, dancing behind the bar and they were all smiles all night. I would definitely recommend desert lake gardens for a local, organic feel at your wedding. More...

Casual eating atmosphere at the Mill Street Cafe with food sourced from local farms. Chicken Chole soup for me to start and an asian inspired sesame zoodle salad for Mike - then we enjoyed our sandwiches a superb club, and a toasted Cuban. Lia and her staff at Desert Lake Gardens catered our backyard wedding for 100 guests. Everything was PERFECT. We had Desert Lake cater our wedding at a conservation center in Kingston in May 2017! We had such a perfect day, and Desert Lake was a big part of it! They were happy to work with us in some budgeting decisions and some additional tasks, such as managing rentals, assisting with some decorating, taking down tables and chairs, etc. Once the day started we didn't have to worry about a thing!
