Jamie is the real deal! I had been struggling and came in for some help. He immediately spotted a couple of issues and then had me do some drills to help fix the problems. I saw immediate visible changes and improvements and I left the lesson with renewed optimism. Thanks Jamie! More...

I've been working with Matt for the past 8 weeks. Matt does a great job explaining everything and finding cues that work for you. He has notes from every work out and does a great job targeting the weaknesses in my movement patterns. My golf swing has gotten a lot better since I've started due to having a better understanding of the bio-mechanics, and being able to reproduce those in the swing. I highly recommend checking them out for anyone who is serious about getting better at golf. Also the facility recently got a trackman, along with a lot of other tools to help you actually translate the exercises to your swing. More...

Awesome experience. I went to DGP to improve my golf game, but got so much more. I’ve worked with Matt McKay for just over a year. When I started working with him, I had constant and at times debilitating low back pain. Golf, skiing, hiking etc were all very painful activities for me. After a few months of exercise, education, and nutrition to name a few, I noticed a dramatic difference in my level of pain. A year later, I can now enjoy outdoor activities pain free. I’ve been working with DGP for several years and it’s made a huge difference in my golf game and my health. Swinging pain free and dropped my handicap from high single digits to a low of 1.5...I can’t recommend them enough!

This is an amazing facility. I've worked with Jamie White for the past 1.5 years, and his combination of fitness (Level 3 TPI, Gray FMT) and golf instruction (bodytrack, KVest, ground forces principles) is rare in the industry. Jason Stone at Denver Golf Performance is hands down the best trainer I have been to. I have a pass at 24 hour fitness and received a few of their free training sessions when I renewed my memberships, so I have seen a few trainers in my day. Jason is seasoned, thorough, and being a golfer himself, understands the in's and out's of the golf swing and the muscles/movements that get it to optimal levels. I’ve been working with Jason for almost a year and I have been amazed at the improvement I’ve seen in my golf game. I made some pretty significant changes to my swing this past season and I physically wouldn’t have been able to make those changes if it wasn’t for the work in the gym. I’ve seen significant improvement in my range of motion, speed, and stability. I’m a +2 and I’ve played golf my whole life. I never imagined the amount of improvement we made was even possible. Jason is positive, knowledgeable and caring.

About 4 years ago I tore a couple ligaments in my ankle. I went a long time undiagnosed and ended up with myriad of imbalances, dysfunction and pain. Eventually I had surgery and subsequently worked with a PT and Jason before returning to sport.

Jason provided me with a base level of athletic training that I feel like I had somehow missed for years. He understands injury extremely well and can help integrate your specific limitations into his routine and eventually push you past them. He's certified in MAT and knows other kinds of body work and incorporates table work into the process. I'm now a stronger, more mobile and better athlete than I ever was before my injury and I couldn't have achieved this level of success without his help. He even gave my girlfriend (a professional dancer) a few sessions on the table free of charge!

His sessions are short, efficient and never disappointing. Highly recommended.

Jason is incredible to work with for golf fitness. He is up on the last golf workout routines that allow us to focus on specific areas to target during a workout in order to improve areas vital to the golf swing. Jason also tailors the workouts to what is important to you so that you are seeing results in your body and your game. Aside from being a knowledgeable trainer, Jason is also fun to work with during a session. He is personable and makes the workouts enjoyable. After recently retiring, I finally had time to start playing golf and working with Jason has made all the difference. We started by doing more golf fitness during my personal training workouts and eventually more instruction. I started out with a golf swing speed in the high 60s and in just a couple of weeks, I hit 97 MPH!! His extensive knowledge of both fitness and golf gives us the opportunity to target specific areas during workouts which has improved my golf game. He has endless types of stretches, exercises, and muscle coordination movements that really help on issues I have with different golf swings. He has the ability and patience to try many different techniques, drills, and pointers to figure out what works for me. Golf can be frustrating and sometimes even embarrassing. Matt was my #1 golf partner when he was in Florida. I watched him rapidly improve his golf game while developing a thorough understanding of golf fitness, technique and training. He would lead me through unique warm-up routines, leaving my body feeling agile and fresh before a round. He taught and demonstrated core exercises that improved all parts of life, especially the golf swing! I can only expect great things to come from this man and can't wait until our paths cross again! Jason is great! I've worked out all my life, but never had the results I've seen since I started working out with him. Very efficient and effective use of time- sessions are 30 to 45 minutes, one on one. The only thing- be prepared to go shopping for clothes in a smaller size. More...

I'm not sure where to begin. I started going to Jason about 10 months ago. I have trained with other personal trainers in the past, and nobody comes close to what I have experienced with Jason at Icelandic Fitness. Jason has changed my life. His customized workouts, activation exercises and nutritional guidance have transformed my body and life. Jason is extremely knowledgeable and shares that with his clients. He listens to what you want to achieve and customizes the training program just for you and your goals. He mixes workouts up so it never gets boring and you are always challenging yourself in new ways. I am grateful that I found Jason and couldn't be happier. Being a long distance runner, I’m always striving to improve my performance in running races. In 2010, I ran a half marathon PR of 1:40:16 and I’ve been trying to sub 1:40 ever since. I never thought it would be so hard to take off 16 seconds from my finish time! So almost 4 years later and 10 half marathons later, I was targeting yet another race in Dec 2013. However, this time Jason started a new approach with my training.

He taught me new warm up stretches and muscle activation drills, as well as, a routine for stretches after training runs. Jason recognized that I needed to work on my running posture and running power. Every week we did a variety of workouts focusing on mastering hip extension movements, explosive power, and proper mechanics all resulting in more efficient and faster running. I started noticing how different my long training runs felt. Goal pace training miles and hills were getting so much stronger. My track speeds were the fastest ever.

Jason also devoted time coaching me on the mental side of running…and I needed a lot of help! All of his dedication to my goal resulted in a new PR of 1:38:35 after almost 4 years of trying. For me, as a 55 year old female, beating my record by almost 1 ½ minutes is a huge achievement. Training with Jason made the difference.

Now I’m looking forward to a great race at the Boston Marathon 2014!!

I’ve been working out with Jason several times a week for almost 4 years. Jason is a fantastic trainer and a really good guy. He knows how to be motivating without being pushy, and takes a sincere interest in my well being both in and out of the gym. I always leave my workouts feeling good physically but also emotionally because Jason knows how to build you up both ways. I’m in my mid 40s, when a lot of men start to let themselves go physically, but with Jason I’ve reversed that process and instead become healthier. I look forward to all my workouts with Jason because it’s always something different, he’s always challenging me and adding new exercises to keep it interesting and motivating. He’s an intelligent guy and fun to talk to as well. We talk about everything from sports to business to family and everything in between. He’s always very punctual and works with my schedule during the week if things come up. It’s clear Jason love’s what he does and he’s very good at it. You’d think he’d charge more for what he does, but his fees are very reasonable. You really can’t go wrong with Jason Stone. More...
