Kayla is amazing!!! We were having absolutely no luck with potty training our puppy and within one lesson and one week later we were having 95% no inside accidents. She’s so good with our puppy Ruby but I especially love how she takes the time to answer all our questions, show us and have us also do each action to learn. We have gotten so much out of each lesson and we see so much progress while sticking to our Kayla training. She also makes herself available in between lessons to answers any questions via text. Kayla is truly amazing!!! She genuinely cares that your pup does well. She is encouraging, sweet, and SO knowledgeable!! ! Our pup is only 3 months old and ALREADY potty trained!!! Kayla’s care is unmatchable and priceless. She has taught us so much and trained directly in our living room. She makes training seem way easier and so much fun. After searching for hours and having many phone calls with different trainers - Kayla by far beat them all with her wisdom and her heart. She is now a forever friend and has helped us so much. Kayla is fantastic! She has been helping us with our German Shepard pup, Kayd, and has really made a huge difference. We had the puppy sessions, the obedience sessions and then a two week board and train for him. He has learned so much and the obedience level he now has is amazing. We can take him to the park and he can now sit or lay down off leash and doesn’t move unless he’s told to. He also has a much better grasp on his recall skills whereas before he would have probably just gone off to do his own thing. Once we have gotten the recall down pat we are going to start some off leash hiking! The best part about having Kayla to help guide us is that we get individualized one on one guidance. Even during the two week boarding she sent us pictures and some videos everyday! She is an amazing trainer and I highly, highly recommend her. The training is worth every penny! Thank you Kayla! Kayla is a truly amazing trainer! We got a chocolate lab puppy in July, and after months, we had still not gone a day without having to clean up an accident in the house. Enter Kayla! After just 4 sessions over 4 weeks, our puppy understands that he should only go to the bathroom outside. It is such a relief for us. I highly recommend DeNovo Canine for dog training!! We booked a Board and Train for our 5 month old puppy for two weeks while we were on vacation. I was very nervous to leave our puppy, but Kayla gave us daily updates and pictures! The biggest change that was made was that our puppy came home trained to only potty outdoors (no more pee pads!). We couldn't be happier! We may send our puppy again for the advanced training next time we are on vacation :-) More...

Kayla has been working with me and my German Shepherd, Moose, since March and I can definitely say the time and money for a professional trainer is well spent. Moose and I both lacked confidence in the beginning-- he felt he didn't t have a leader to follow; so he did things that were in the best interest of the pack from his perspective, and this caused him to behaved erratically or to become reactive. I didn't even feel comfortable walking him! The first session was like a breathe of fresh air literally-- through patience Kayla showed me that my dog could learn, I could be taught and we both can build confidence overtime! Kayla was extremely helpful in answering all the questions I had before deciding to officially sign my lab Tucker up for a 2 week board and train. It was her knowledge and passion for training that really won us over. When my Tucker came back I saw the incredible bond Kayla built with him and was able to connect with him. Then during our follow up session she really helped us build our bond with Tucker as well. We now have confidence in Tucker and Tucker himself has more confidence working off leash. We will definitely be using Kayla's services in the future whether it be follow up sessions to make sure he stays on a great path or for boarding if we go on a trip. For letting my beloved dog to stay in a trainer's home for 2 weeks, I needed to feel safe to do that. I've compared with different schools, found that Kayla is the best when she's a true animal lover & she has been a school teacher. Another school like off leash K-9 is just for $$$. She's worked so hard & even gave the extra out of the package. Her communication is fast & responsive. When I was on trip to HK, she sent me Fonzie's photos & videos everyday so I knew what he has learned. After 2 weeks, Fonzie has no more whining in car, no more jumping, is full of confidence, walks off leash, recall, retrieve things, etc. Firstly, she tried to find all of his problems. Although she didn't promise me to fix them all as they're not included in the package. I'm so happy that all of his problems were fixed finally. She works from her heart but not for $$$$. She even washed all of his toys & bed, gave him a bath which she didn't mention she would do that. She keeps on asking about him after 2 weeks to make sure he's doing ok. My husband and I were having difficulties controlling our very stubborn Rott puppy, Carson. He was up at all hours of the night barking, wouldn't pay attention to simple commands, and he would try and play with us like he would with other dogs. Meaning he would jump up or mouth our arms to get our attention. We were at our wits end, and it wasn't looking good for Carson. Hiring Kayla was the best decision we could have made! By the end of the training, our big puppy had a complete 180 in attitude. In addition to teaching Carson some basic training, Kayla adjusted later lessons according to what my husband and I wanted to work on. Carson doesn't jump anymore, he doesn't mouth our hands or arms. He sits and lays down on command. He goes to his place when told. He sleeps throughout the night. Overall, he is loving and he actually listens now. We could have not done this without Kayla. She was such a positive presence, taking her time with both Carson and with us while we all adjusted to this new way of life. She was always available to answer any questions we had outside of training. I would highly recommend Kayla to anyone looking into training. We hired Kayla to train our so called difficult Lab puppy. She is just amazing. I'm not recommending her so highly because of her skills and experience only, I recommend her strongly because of her true passion for the work she does and empathy she has for dogs. She was not the first trainer we hired, there were others but they could not achieve the results that Kayla achieved and they could not help our puppy the way Kayla helped him. As a matter of fact, our puppy kind of depressed them :) Her transparency in her approach, methodical explanation of what she is doing, why she is doing and what would comes next, her superior communication skills and her strong work ethics set her apart from the crowd. Kayla is the best! She helped us train our 6 month old lab mix rescue puppy, Allie. We would recommend Kayla to anyone! We went on vacation for two separate weeks with one week in-between. We went with the two week training. Our dog is a one year old German Shepherd. Already a very good and lovable dog, but he had some issues that needed to be addressed...for example: walking properly on a leash, where he was not pulling our back out. After the second week, he absolutely amazed us. He would listen to the commands that Kayla instructed us to use and he walked beautifully on a leash. She taught everything that we discussed and then some. We will definitely be using her in the future for boarding as well. Bullet loves her and we are very grateful for her special way with animals. DeNovo Canine (Kayla) was so great to work withI Our five year-old boxer is very independent, didn't want to listen to commands when told and was fairly reactive to other dogs. We knew that training with an e collar was probably going to be the best way to get her to be more responsive but we were a little apprehensive. Kayla walked us through the process and put all our fears to rest. She was kind and compassionate with my dog and the results show.
