But What is Soft Tissue?
The term “soft tissue” can refer to muscles, their tendons, ligaments, fascia , connective tissue and even nerves.
What Happens During Your Treatment

Your first visit includes a full consultation and a postural assessment may be carried out if necessary. A treatment plan can then be put together.



As a rule, sports and remedial massage shouldn’t be painful, though there may be occasions when it becomes uncomfortable. We work within your pain scales to ensure that the experience is a positive one!



How Many Treatments Will I Need?

This may depend upon how long you have had the condition. Sometimes just having one treatment can make all the difference, though more may be required if you’ve been suffering from the injury or ailment for a long period.

For continuing maintenance, monthly or six weekly treatments are advisable as a preventative measure against injuries or recurrence.

If we find your condition is more serious, where massage is not the solution at this time, then a recommendation to refer onto more specialised professionals will be given.
