Getting stuck in an emergency situation with our cat Tinkerbelle made us realize how costly surgery the veterinary services could be. I'm ain't a financing guru, I just install the fences, but my boy Dave at Denefits (shoutout to Dave) really came through for me. We had a demo scheduled yesterday morning for which he called me beforehand cause I definitely forgot. He walked me through the whole system! I really respect the level of patience and he didn't even rush me off the phone when I asked him like a billion freaking questions! I was able to get a customer signed up for $6,600 fence installation just this afternoon that I otherwise woulda had to turn away. This is not guaranteed payments. Its a scam! So many different rules, seems like they make them up on the fly. Save your practice any anxiety and frustration.

In February, I was trying to make a payment on their new patient portal. I hit one "make payment" and button and the company charged my debit card for my ENTIRE balance. There was no confirmation screen, or anything, it was a one button misleading transaction.

I called them immediately explained what had happen and they refused to do anything about it.
They claimed it was impossible and that they were keeping the money.

I begged and pleaded, offered to pay more money that what I was originally making a payment for, expressed to them what position this was putting me in and they STILL refused to do anything.

It was later revealed to me by a Denefits team member, they could have helped me from the beginning if they wanted to. They just refused.

I made a claim a bank with claiming the charge was unintended and that Denefits knew this and were keeping the funding anyway. I asked for screen shots of my transaction or a video. In response to this, they sent the bank screenshots they manufactured of my transaction and were not actually from my transaction.

I knew right away these weren't' from transaction. asked repeatedly if these screenshot were of my real time transaction or if they created them. They NEVER gave me a straight answer.

My suspicions were later confirmed by a a more senior member of their team.

They sent the bank MANUFACTURED screenshots as if they were of my own experience. Amazingly deceptive. These also showed nothing about what the actual screen looked like or the payment option buttons.

I spent a month trying to work with them and get answers but they just kept refusing to answer questions and pushing me off saying "there is nothing we can do".


So, with the deceptive information, the bank reversed my claim and again the money was taken unexpectedly out of my account. Right in the middle of a pandemic I remind you. After this, I told them my plan to go public with this information and my story.

A nice woman then tried to actually help me get some funding back but at that point it was too. She also confirmed they COULD HAVE DONE THIS FROM THE BEGINING...and none of this needed to happen

The money had already been taken out, and they couldn't give any real time line for when I could receive any of the money. So I decided to just let them keep their precious money and I would let the public know about their deceptive practices.

Here in Saratoga Springs, NY, we have a smaller community but a lot of visitors so having this option was imperative for our office. You don't have to be a resident of the town to be a patient. Things happen and when you are on vacation, sometimes those extra funds just are not available. For our office, we just ensure to get proper identification and proof of income. I can honestly say, without Denefits our little office would not be able to be open 6 days a week or be closed during the towns slow season. We still get payments during our closures! Denefits has really changed the way we offer financing in our office. We have been them a little over a year now, and yes there have been some bumps but boy did they help us when needed. We just got our claims paid from their guarantee program (not that we had that many, but every bit helps!) and the process couldn't be easier. Loving this company! I've increased my patient list and earning power in one fell swoop!! Our office tried Denefits last year and while the software was easy, I just wasn't getting what I needed. I took a break and then did a refresher -- what a difference that made. Glad I found this company. I have seen a lot of reviews complaining about guaranteed payments. I don't know about other doctors, but I get my payments after I send my claim. Never had a problem. Its just like an insurance company, submit your claim and proof and get paid. It wasn't hard for me. My production as also jumped 25% since I found them since I don't need to turn patients away. Unprofessional and dishonest company. We were told that payments are secure and guaranteed. In reality, not only they charged us 10% of the transaction, they also did not pay! What a scam! Avoid Denefits at all cost! More...

Run AWAY if you want to get paid!!!! We have been using Denefits for over several months in our clinic and they have been very professional at the beginning. Once we stated to signing patients for financing we had the worse experience. They claim guaranteed pay, however when it came time to pay, they made promises and eventually stopped answering our calls. we probably lost over $20k in patient care. Very poor experience. Great company and pays all payments to providers on time. I have had no problem and have only made extra revenue because of this great software.

We are a dental practice in Texas. One of our patients has defaulted on his payments for 90 days, and Denefits has REFUSED to pay out, stating EVERY SINGLE TIME WE CALL (over 5 times) to give us a few more weeks because there's a "technical glitch" that causes them to not pay us, even though they are under contract to pay us within THIRTY days of someone defaulting.

This company is quick and happy to take financing fees and administrative fees from the patient, but will NEVER pay you for your production as promised if the patient stops paying.
