The first time I visited DelMonaco, I was spending a girls weekend in a cabin nearby and we were looking for a nice day activity. I had seen billboards on the interstate for years but never had to opportunity to stop, so I was excited to check it out. Apparently, we visited on a weekend when the wine train was visiting the vineyard. That meant we were able to enjoy live music, fun games, and a hayride through the vines driven by the owner of the winery! There was a barbecue lunch available for purchase as well as many vendors to shop. When you win one of the games, you receive a “DelMonaco Dollar” worth $1 off a bottle purchase. The second time I visited was on the wine train itself! Representatives from the winery walk you through a tasting of all of the wines available at DelMonaco. Once we arrived, there were again all of the activities I had experienced before. Personally, I thought the bottle prices were a bit high (~$20 on average) but after playing a few games and winning a couple of dollars off, the wines are well worth the price. The winery was also offering a selection of local craft beers as well, for those in your group that may not love wine. As I was waiting to board the train, I noticed that the winery has several Tesla chargers which was a great surprise as the winery is a bit of a drive from Nashville. Beautiful day on the grass under the shade of a small oak tree listening to a great cover band (Heart and Soul) playing a wide range of music. We shared a bottle of delicious Riesling from this winery. They offer free tours and they have a nice tasting program. The venue would be perfect for a wedding or party. This was a great find while camping in the area. We came across a sign for the winery with some grape vines at Cummins Falls state park and decided to go check it out. They had rows and rows of grapes, a very nice facility and the tasting was inexpensive and the pourer was great to chat with. We had kids with us so we also checked out the grapes and did their cute scavenger hunt. The wines were good and would definitely go back! More...

Had a phenomenal experience here! We were staying in Nashville & happened to find this gem! We did the full wine tasting with the cheese & there wasnt one wine that I did not like. Had a great time visiting DelMonaco Winery with some friends. Each of us brought dome finger foods to nibble on while drinking a couple bottles of their delicious wine. We also enjoyed the wine tasting. We got to try about 12 or 15 wines for a small fee of about $10 or $15 dollars for the flight. I'm sorry, I can't remember the exact cost, but I was having too much fun to really care.The winery had some nice reds, including the Whistle Stop which was very nice and a little dry and Concord Falls which was also very good, but a tad sweeter. We drank a couple of bottles of the Whistle Stop and took the Concord Falls, the Blackberry (very sweet), and another Whistle Stop home to enjoy later. More...

Great summer/fall activity. We went on a summer day and it was sunny and radiant. The place is very majestic looking from the outside, like a European mansion. We got a tasting of their wines with a block of cheese and crackers. The outside vineyards are nice to walk around and they have a swing in the back side to relax in. Must come if your in the area. A wonderful way to spend time with someone special, to make new acquaintances, or just relax and enjoy. The band Split Decision was playing today. A very talented group with a huge repertoire; however their volume was entirely too loud for this indoor performance. Once we moved out onto the patio, the sound became quite enjoyable. As usual, it was a great wine tasting train ride. Our host, Maddy, was excellent offering good advice on wine pairings. The lunch menu was good, but not really suited to good wine.
