Mr Eric Digweed at Deemount Design was highly professional and very friendly, who did the architectral design for our new kitchen extension project, helped in submission of drawings and details to city council for their approval and getting back the approval so that we completed the new kitchen in time. We were extremely satisfied with Eric at Deemount Design. Although we contracted him for a garage conversion project which eventually shrunk in scope, he was very thorough, made several visits, was always ready to explain some technical or regulation details in lay terms, and was thinking quite pragmatically. Our initial ideas/requests wouldn't pass building regulations but he gave us several other options which ultimately will allow us to use the space as we need. Once we agreed on the project, he handled the building warrant application for us, which was granted in a timely manner thanks to Eric immediately responding to the examiners questions.Communication was excellent and reactive. I don't have a fine tuned scale for pricing architect work, but I feel that given the time spent and the quality of service we have paid a very reasonnable price, definitely worth the work done. Although our house extension was in Inverness , we decided to contact Eric at Deemount Design after he was referred to us by a builder friend. From the outset Eric dealt with us in the most friendly and professional manner, no question to him was a silly one and he would respond promptly in a manner that put us at ease and our trust in him. I couldn't fault the anything about the work and assistance we received and would have no hesitation recommending Deemount Design to anyone. Costings where fair and in line with others but the detail and service we received totally outweighed what have seen others issue and supply. I must add and stress that the timescales that Eric quoted for work where spot on and all queries , changes and information required was dealt with in a very accepting time scale. 5 star rating for a 5 star service.
