I met Angela Scollar at a home improvement show. We seemed to hit it off immediately. I kept her card for more than two years before calling her to help me finish "my" room. I had already painted my 10 x 10 room a beautiful blue-red (Benjamin Moore Exotic Red) and had found a York wallpaper that I wanted to use. After that I was stuck. I called Angela and after a consultation we agreed to work together. She was willing to work with what I had already selected and understood that we would complete the project in stages. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions that were within my budget. She convinced me to go with a patterned black material for the Roman shades in the room even though I was hesitant and afraid that the black would be too much against the red. I trusted her judgment and I am glad I did. The results are beautiful. The contractors she used for papering my wall and hanging the custom window treatments were excellent. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. Angela came to the house to oversee these. Unfortunately, the project has been put on hold for awhile as I have become unemployed. I explained the situation to her and she was very gracious. We agreed to keep in touch so that when I am able we will be able to finish the project. More...
