Facade/Exterior Envelope
We offer services in renovating the exterior envelope of existing buildings. Expertise includes windows, waterproofing and envelope materials, including masonry, curtain wall, and hung panels. DRAP is trained to perform inspections on hung scaffolding. We complete inspections of your building and create DOB drawings for work approval. DRAP also has experience working with Landmarks Preservation Committee (LPC) to gain appropriate approvals in Landmarked buildings or districts. Deborah Rojas is a registered QEWI with NYC DOB, able to perform FISP/LL11 Inspections.
Code Review
NYC DOB Building Code and Zoning Ordinance regulate the buildings in New York City. At DRAP we perform code reviews for existing or future buildings. We review codes for existing compliance and possibilities for future use or expansion.
Public Participation Facilitation
DRAP offers services aiding in public outreach requirements to a project. Public participation is an important part of any planning project and we are passionate about obtaining quality information from participants. We can use a variety of tools to reach the public. Some of these tools include surveys, focus groups, public meetings, website, fact sheets and shadowing.
Interior Renovation
We provide design services for interior renovation, from adding a powder room to complete gut renovation.
Sidewalk Cafes
Sidewalk cafes must be permitted in New York City. We can provide permitting paperwork and design services for your cafe.
