Debbie purkiss make up artist

I stumbled across Debbie's Yell page and I cannot believe how lucky I was in finding her. I made some requests that were a little unique including feather extensions and bright green shadow. Debbie looked through all of my references beforehand, understood the look I wanted completely and was so organised and prepared for everything. She was incredibly quick to response to all my emails, super friendly and honestly just a joy and relaxing presence to be around. She arrived early for the trial and the big day. Her makeup collection is top notch and she was open to any questions or feedback I had. I also asked Debbie to do the hair of my friends and they were so happy and even though they had had their hair done before, they were really happy with Debbie's styling as it held all day to night. I was having a party for my 30th and wanted to have my makeup done and look my best. I was recommended to contact Debbie through a friend and I'm glad I did. I absolutely loved my makeup. Debbie came to my house and was very professional, having Asian skin can be difficult and if you haven't chosen the right shade it can look chalky but Debbie knew exactly what shades would suit my skin colour. I wanted a natural look as I'm not someone who wears a lot of makeup and she did just that. I didn't feel like I had too much on my skin and the makeup stayed on all night without having to top up which was great. Thank you so much. I look forward to booking you again for my next event. I hadnt slept & was V nervous on my wedding morning, Debbie was nothing short of incredible! Instantly putting me at ease, & managing to organise & calm Me, 4 bridesmaids & my mum. Having had a trial I knew what look I wanted & Debbie had been fantastic about suggesting what would suit me, she did not disappoint. I was over the moon with my make up & genuinely blown away when I saw how beautiful she'd made my mum. (Being an older lady was worried about letting someone else do her make up)Both me & my 4 maids received lots of compliments & were all very pleased with the results.Not only was Debbie really lovely to have around, she was a complete perfectionist & her attention to detail outstanding.Since my wedding I have been lucky enough to have been bridesmaid at 2 weddings where she has been the MUA & have always been amazed by the results.I literally cannot recommend her enough. Debbie was recommended to me by a friend.She was easy to get hold of, quick to respond to messages and really put my mind at rest. I had a trial to perfect the make up for the most special day of my life.She had all of her kit with her, explained about the make up she was using, looked at pictures I had saved and gave me tips on bits of make up to keep mine topped up.On the day she arrived early and didn't get flustered when my dad opened the front door in just his dressing gown!!She worked well with other professionals.......It was a full house! She kept checking things were just the way I wanted, she even offered my little cousin the chance to rummage through her make up! She stayed until just before I left for the church to do final checks. It was like having another friend with me getting ready, I'm truly grateful to her and look back at all of my wedding picture and I'm amazed how beautiful she made me look �� I would recommend Debbie and have no doubt she would make your day!!!!!! I hired Debbie after having many bad make up experiences, her years of professional experience made her stand out from the other "self taught" so called artists. I cannot stress enough how pleased I was with the service from start to finish I received from Ms Purkiss. What a pleasure to be in the company of such a fun yet professional person whom delivered by far the best make up I have ever received (and I've had a lot of make up artists!) I was so pleased to have Debbie do mine, my Bridesmaid's and my Mum's make-up on my big day this year, she made us look amazing & the whole experience was great! I didn't know Debbie before looking into make-up options, so when we met it was a relief to know we were in safe hands.
