What do you love most about your job?
meeting so many wonderful owners and adorable dogs and puppies.
Helping them to have a better life together, and teaching the dog the skills that they need to make healthy decisions for themselves!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked with dogs for almost 10 years as a dog walker, veterinary assistant, and at animal shelters. I wanted specialized training, so I studied for an MSc degree at the University of Edinburgh in Animal Welfare and Animal Behaviour, so I had a good theoretical and scientifc basis for understanding dog and cat beahviour.
I then completed the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) Advanced Training Course to learn the best reward based, positive reinforcement approach to training. Based on these expericens, I had a solid approach to training dogs and puppies, and I wanted the freedom to work with clients in the best way possible.
