Fantastic is the only word to describe this restaurant and I'm not sure it does it justice. Food is out of this world, staff will have a laugh with you but are great at their jobs and the sticky toffee pudding should be a deadly sin. Just been to Deanes Meat Locker for the first time. Phenomenal food and wonderful service. I had the scallops to start, then Chateaubriand ( which was amazing, as were the beef dripping chips) and then shared two deserts. Food lovely. We ate from the set menu our party of 3 ordered Burger and two lamb dishes all of them were very nice however we were advised to get a side order with the lamb. The only thing wrong with this superb place - and that thing is not their fault at all - is that yobs come in here and throw money around and then some get very drunk. It makes me very sad that these young ‘men’ think that they rule the roost, when they are actually just very sad. Very reasonably priced. However the menu has changed and the prices have increased. Still good value. I still prefer the old style French fries as now they have chunky chips which are a bit common. Come on bring the fries back.

Wow! Had dinner here on Saturday 30th with 29 other hens. As you can imagine it was a bit hectic with all the drink orders and then the different meal orders. However, this was not an issue with the staff at Deans, they were incredibly helpful with fast and excellent service. The actual meal was delicious and in perfect portion sizes. Excellent place to eat for both lunch and dinner, while the selection is a bit small for some people the quality of food on offer is usually of a very high standard.
