Fantastic salon! Stacey Garrett french braided my hair for my delivery after my doctor told me I'd be induced that night (the ob/gyn is a few doors down from this salon). When I got engaged, there was not a doubt in my mind who I wanted to do my hair and make-up. Kristin Gause from DeNovo created a look for me that was simple and elegant and left my husband in awe. When I looked at myself in the mirror when everything was said and done, I was just in awe at her amazing work! In addition to making me feel like the most beautiful and elegant princess on my wedding day, she also made each of my bridesmaids feel so comfortable with their amazing updos. When the ceremony was said and done and the important dances were done, Kristin was there ready with her bobby pins and quickly put my hair up within a matter of minutes. Firstly this is one of the only salons open on a Monday. I scheduled an appointment for the same day and the salon was wonderful. My hair was almost to my belly button and cut it to shoulder length. I rarely write any reviews but for this one, I have to. I’m Muslim and I’ve always had a hard time finding a salon with a private room (where I can uncover my hair). Unlike other salons I’ve been to, the staff here made me feel so comfortable. I was welcomed with awesome service. No weird looks or comments about me covering my hair. The girls were so nice! I have lived many places due to military life, and the biggest problem I have when we move is finding a new hair stylist. I have never found one that can do what I show/describe . I have lived in the Pensacola area for 5 years and I wish I found Stacey sooner! She does exactly what I ask for, but better! I never get tired of traveling 35 minutes to get there every four weeks for a cut (I keep my hair very short) and every 8 weeks for color. She is outstanding! The staff here receive periodic training to refine their skills and also learn new techniques. The front desk staff and stylist assistants are also amazing!
