It was the best wedding decision we made to book Darren to photograph our wedding last month. From the first consultation we got on well and on the day him and Steph were friendly, fun and incredibly professional. We have 1000 perfect photos of our day and absolutely love them. It is genuinely invaluable having two photographers on the day, something which no one else we spoke to before booking offered, because they capture the getting ready moments for both parties and then different views throughout the day. It was amazing to look back on both our reactions throughout the day. The group shots were done in the most seamless way (often a difficult and long thing at weddings I’ve been to) and we are just so delighted with them. Darren and Steph worked out spots for perfect photos and we ended up with so many great shots. Also Darren saved us a few times with his wedding knowledge like telling my bridesmaids the right way to do up my dress and bringing umbrellas! Can’t recommend DB Photography highly enough! Darren and Steph were very professional, friendly and talented! They had some really different ideas to create some amazing photos which we loved! Not like your basic mainstream wedding photography. Loved that we had 2 great personalities sharing our special day! Just what you need on your special day! Darren and his team are absolutely 5 ⭐️ I cannot recommend them enough. Darren and his lovely wife Jade photographed our wedding and went above and beyond what they needed to do on the day and helped us with so many things! I do not normally feel comfortable being photographed but they both put us at ease and were polite, professional and friendly. Working within the venue due to the bad weather didn’t affect the work they did one bit. They also worked with us to find what style and shots we wanted or didn’t want. Where to start! From our first meeting with Darren we felt we were in safe hands! So professional and knowledgeable and took time to build a picture of our day and the photos we wanted capturing. 5****** (Is it possible to give higher than 5*?!) We could not recommended Darren and his team highly enough. From our very first contact with Darren he was friendly, understanding and professional. Nothing was too much to ask. They turned up in the morning happy and excited for us. The whole way through it just felt like they were part of the wedding party. So many of our friends didn't even realise they were our photographers because they were so discrete. Getting the wedding photos back was amazing. Reliving the day with such beautiful images. We had our wedding Back on the 8th September 2018. We had looked at a few Different photographers and Darren stood out from the others with his work. When we first meet him we knew we would love for him to cover our wedding day! He is a down to earth Genuinely nice guy, my whole bridal party and i loved him! Darren and his assistant Aleisha are a great duo, very fun to be around and make having your photos taken an effortless experience! We had the pleasure of Darren shooting our wedding on the 20th July 18. From initial conversations, nothing was too much trouble. Just wanted to say that we got our photographs back from Darren last night and are so, so pleased. The fact that Darren gives you a cd and in our case 2 cds of excellent photos works out to be such good value. I don’t even know where to start...
We ABSOLUTELY are IN LOVE with our wedding photos! It’s been 10 months since and we must of looked at them dozens of times since we received them! Finally have them up on our walls (it looks like we are truly those people who have never got over their wedding day) but we’re so happy with every single picture! Everytime I see any of them it takes us on this huge emotional amazing rollercoaster that was our wedding day.

Having followed Darren & his work (like a crazy stalker) for a long time because of the pure beauty from his work.... I was in awe of it all. As a wedding photographer myself, I knew how big of a decision this was. Then came the day that I met Darren at his studio he made a huge impression on my husband & I straight away and instantly clicked (which I know is SUCH an important feeling to have when booking your wedding photographer) I loved the way he worked & the way he so effortlessly made us feel comfortable. Darren was amazing throughout the booking process, especially with all the endless questions, requests and suggestions from myself he was always kind & happy to help!
Great prices and packages and we was sold instantly. We booked it & the rest as they say is history!

He arrived on the day look dapper (as usual) and hopped straight into it, I’m not going to lie I was SUPER nervous being on the other end of the camera � I was, however, very aware of the camera but within 10mins I couldn’t even tell he was there (I was actually abit worried that he wasn’t there at some points) THEY COVERED EVERYTHING & more!!! We had such a laugh and a joke with Darren & Clare, whilst they remained super professional at all times, his artistic eye never seemed to stop for the entirety of the day. Need less to say I was VERY impressed!!! We clicked instantly on a professional level (before he even knew I was a potential client anyway which to me is always key).

I can happily recommend him to ANYONE now (I sort of shout it from the rooftops at the moment) not only on a professional level but now on personal experience.
Our photos is definitely something in the top 4 Things I would save in a fire now (after my husband, kids & Wedding vid) � I love it! They are bloody beautiful. He’s captured every aspect of our day perfectly. He’s summed up our families and the love we have for eachother amazingly well.

I didn’t think I could love my husband anymore than I do already but after looking through our wedding photos it’s made me fall in love with him a million times more!!! seeing our love and the biggest day of our lives eternalised in photo form � It’s AMAZING!

So in conclusion- if your reading this looking for reviews for potientially booking DB Photography Sussex for your big day .... look no further. I work in the wedding industry and I truly believe he is one of BEST in the business!!!
