My sister got married here last year and it was the absolute best venue I've ever been to. I worked closely with Ashley M. and she was a ray of sunshine! Ashley was knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, and was super on-top of everything my big sis needed! The decor was amazing, the space was clean and classy, the packages they offered were fair, and I plan to have my reception here (once I get engaged of course). The space is wonderful and has so many amenities like a separate entrance for guest ,a bridal suite along with a tucked away section outside for the groom to have cigars and brandy. The built in bar is a marvelous touch and there are so many things to do with the open floor plan and to top it off is the rooftop view with the downtown skyline as a back drop. More...

We had our ceremony and reception in Feb 2018 at Room1520 and absolutely loved it. We also used Nicole as our DOC, and her and Celeste were both so responsive, accommodating and just overall great to work with. During our initial walk through we loved the space, but it all looked even better than imagined on the actual wedding day.

So much equipment was recently upgraded, including chairs, bar equipment, décor and couches/lounge furniture. There were also so many options available for us to customize to our own tastes including tons of uplighting colors, chairs (rustic vs more formal), tables (shape and size) and layout. The bar is built-in, very elegant looking and extremely wide so many guests were able to go to the bar without crowding the room. The main room had plenty of space for people to dance, but there was also convenient areas near the front of the space to walk away for more private conversations. Parking was extremely convenient, and even though there was a big snow storm leading up to the wedding none of our guests had trouble finding the venue or parking nearby. There are a ton of preferred vendor options who are all super familiar and experienced with the venue. We got so many compliments from our guests, and even first time vendors, at how beautiful the venue looked and general flow of the rooms.

My wife and I got married here in April and it was absolutely wonderful! The first time we took a tour of Room 1520 we just knew this is where we wanted to get married. The space was just perfect for our wedding of about 90 guests (though you could easily fit more depending on your own layout.. but we wanted to keep it under 100 and do long farm style tables). Not only is the space clean, modern, and romantic during the day, but once the sun goes down it's even more beautiful! The lighting that Room 1520 includes with their space is not just one or two measly lights here and there that some venues try to pass as up-lighting. No, Room 1520 means it when they say up-lighting is included. The up-lighting that is included did so much for the space that we didn't have to pay extra with our DJ or through another company. It was absolutely stunning. Our only complaint about the night is that it was a little warm in the venue and we couldn't seem to get the place to cool down (but this could also be due to dancing and drinking!).

In addition to having a beautiful venue if you book with Room 1520 you also get to know Celeste who was beyond phenomenal. It's difficult to put into words just how wonderful she is. We visited a few venues before Room 1520 but we had not met anyone quite as nice, welcoming, accommodating, caring and down to earth as Celeste when we were viewing other venues. Honestly, having her on our team was priceless. Wedding planning is stressful enough as it is, but Celeste made sure that worrying about our venue was not something we had to do. She constantly made sure she was checking in with us throughout the process to see if we needed help or had questions about anything (not just venue related), she gave us resources for our (pretty) limited budget and helped us stay where we needed to be price wise by giving us different resources and companies to look into. And then on the day she even showed up with a few extra goodies that she did not have to do but did anyways. It's the little things like this that go a LONG way on your big day. When it comes to your wedding day, you really want to have all the right people on your side who have taken the time to get to know you, can vouch for your vision, and believe in you and that is exactly what Celeste was for us! Beautiful wedding venue and awesome service!

We got married at Room 1520 in October 2016. We worked with Celeste from start to finish. She is extremely professional and passionate about making sure you have a fabulous wedding. She consistently answered all our questions, we worked with her to design the space, she let us come early the day of the wedding to use the bridal suite to get ready, and she worked directly with all our vendors (they all know and love her, so it makes everything easier!).

We had about 160 guests and had a half sit-down/half cocktail style reception. It was the perfect size space. The bar is so gorgeous and large, no one had to wait for drinks and it never felt crowded. You can add a lot of decorations if you want, but we just went with white tablecloths, the clear chairs, and simple candles, and it was so beautiful. The uplighting and chandeliers make the crisp white space glow in the evening. We used the rooftop for our first look and some bridal party pictures. Great view of the city and very private. Our guests all loved the venue as much as we did. At the end of the night we walked a block down the street to the Cobra Lounge for an after-party, it was super convenient and since it was so close a lot of people joined, perfect place to end the night!

We viewed about 12 other venues in the city and nothing compared to the unique style, the value, the service, and the flexibility that Room 1520 offers. We are so grateful we found this spot and highly recommend it! More...

I had my wedding reception here this past May and had a wonderful experience! Aesthetic wise, this venue had the minimalist feel that we were going for and is absolutely stunning. Everyone was commenting on how beautiful and unique it was. Celeste was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process and was more than accommodating with our many visits to the venue (and a last minute ice cream cart!).
