David did an amazing show for my 7 year old's birthday party! He was professional, responsive, and even gave me some good tips to ensure a successful show like having the kids run around for an hour before the show and noting the show start time in the invitation. David performed a wide variety of tricks that even I, a magic enthusiast, have never seen before. He fooled both the kids and the adults, and had both laughing. There were only 10 kids there so every single one was able to assist with a trick and the birthday boy received special attention. I received compliments from every adult in attendance! David Seebach is a Milwaukee classic. The master magician creator of the decades-long running "Illusions in the Night" Halloween show and a staple attraction at the community park stage during Summerfest and Polish Fest, David is an entertainer who can work any venue with unsurpassed skill and ease.
I've seen countless David Seebach shows because I never miss an opportunity to watch him perform. Every show is different and even repeat tricks always get a fresh take customized for that audience. David gave my daughter the best birthday party of her childhood, involving all of her friends in a fun and energetic show at Organ Piper Pizza. Although it was a mistake on my end to book overlapping entertainment, (magic works best with an attentive audience!) David the consummate professional crafted a fondly remembered childhood experience.
But the best reason to choose David Seebach over other options is that he's an inspiring role model. A recurring theme of his entire career is how his passion for magic became his livelihood. I can't think of a more motivating message to encourage anyone to achieve their goals.

I asked David to perform at my daughter’s birthday party. What a great show! David arrived on time and was very professional throughout his time at our event. David did an excellent job at entertaining the entire group (which was made up of ages ranging from 6 to 76) and incorporating the audience into the show. It was a terrible experience. Adults talked throughout the show, children were not supervised , Sno-Cones were made and given to youngsters DURING the show. Here's a Yelp review for the same repertoire two weeks ago: "We hired David Seebach for a girls 8th birthday party. The show was so wonderful, all the children and adults were amazed. David made sure everyone was included in the show and the guest of honor had a very special part of the action. I recommend this magician to anyone, he showed up on time, with everything he needed, and went about setting up discretely, allowing the hostess to attend to guests without distraction. How long have you been interested in magic?
My interest began during my childhood. I was hired at about age twelve to perform at a neighborhood library and my career was started. In college I majored in theater because I wanted to offer something much more than just 'doing tricks.'
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Lots of comedy! I have a very strong stage presence and a voice that commands attention. My style is extremely smooth and confident. I have a quick wit and use in the many audience participation acts in my repertoire. My personality is very warm and my goal is to make sure my audiences feel good and will say they had a great time during my show. You can expect a different approach to magic because I did not associate with other magicians in my teens and twenties. I found my own unique style and I always looked for how to put the SHOW in a magic show.
What do you love most about your job?
I may be performing a magical effect that I have done for decades, but it is also brand-new because the audience is new. I like that I get opportunities to perform funny ---sometimes silly--- routines for children one day and then stage a sophisticated program that includes baffling mind reading the next day for an adult group.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It found me! I never thought I could actually make a living by performing and so I expected a much more mundane life after college. But, my phone was ringing and folks wanted to hire me to entertain. My avocation became my vocation almost by... magic!
Why should our clients choose you?
I appeal to clients who expect a more professional approach. They aren't interested in a hackneyed "for-my-next-trick" magician. I'm often told that it isn't what I do, but how I do it. My stories and patter set me apart from others in my field. Even other magicians say, "David, you're different."
