Decided to use an independent funeral director for my Dad a few weeks ago and was a bit hesitant but I’m glad I chose David Robb. Their professionalism and personal touches throughout the whole process was outstanding and nothing was a problem. On the day it was perfect and David goes out his way to make sure my Dads send off was perfect and it was. Arranging our Mothers funeral has to be the hardest thing we have ever done. However the care & compassion from David & Andrew was very comforting know our mum was being prepared for her final journey & was in very good hands. .. They emphasised nothing was a problem for them & told us several times " you tell us what to do we dont tell you " so therefore every decision made was our own & the boys carried out ever detail we asked for. I can't thank David enough for what he did for my family when my gran passed away. His attention to detail was amazing. He was very caring and compassionate which was invaluable to us as a family. Any questions we asked he answered with no problems and always explained what he was doing. The care and compassion that he took with my gran was outstanding and I will never forget that. As a person who is wary of deceased, he took me to come in to see my gran and stayed with me until I felt ok. That in it's self just shows the kind, thoughtful and caring person he is and this reflects in his work. He was there right from the beginning of my grans funeral till the end and even managed to surprise is with something we received after the funeral which will be treasured forever. David Robb was highly recommended to us through a very good mutual friend of ours. David's attention, attentiveness and pure quality was brilliantly provided to us when our Dad suddenly passed away and he was outstanding. He handled absolutely every detail immaculately for the funeral going over and above for myself and my family (which doesn't get offered by larger companies). Everything was done by David and his staff leaving us with not much at all to do or stress about. Thankfully! We have used two different larger name directors in past few years for our Nana and Mum and David Robb's service and professionalism is second to none. What a genuine lovely man, our family enjoyed meeting him, so welcoming, and working with him felt familiar and was with ease, these qualities of service ultimately gave our Dad the most perfectly flawless Humanist send off. We sincerely thank David and his staff for all that they did and for taking care of us and our Dad, especially for the extra beautiful suggestions and touches for Dad's day.
