I started training with David in January as I wanted/needed to lose weight. I used to train regularly when I was younger but had put on weight over the last couple of years and had tried and failed to get back into exercising regularly by myself several times. With my wedding coming up, I knew now was the time to do something more drastic and wanted a PT to help me achieve my goals. After just 2 months of training with David, I've already lost 2 stone and shredded 30 inches of fat across my body! The physical and mental changes I've seen in myself have been incredible. I feel so much healthier, more energetic, and finding healthy choices come easily now because I've developed new habits.My weekly sessions with David are great - he's an excellent trainer, very motivational, mixes up the sessions, has great experience and knowledge of different training methods and finding new ways to work me. I really enjoy the sessions, and the exercise programmes he gives me to work on in the gym in between our weekly sessions. I initially started sessions with David because I hoped he might be able to help with my debilitating lower back pain. After my enquiry, I commenced my weekly visits to train with David, who was very encouraging from the outset. He had explained his planned exercising strategy would, more than likely, prevent my back pain returning. He was definitely right: during the two years that I have been training with David, I have not felt any further pain.There are several exciting additional benefits beyond my now pain-free back. Whilst experiencing excellently supervised training to strengthen, importantly, my core muscles — including boxing and working with weights — I have learned about diet and how to lose weight whilst maintaining a healthy lifestyle. My improved body tone and strength has resulted in greater personal confidence. At the young age of 68, I feel very grateful to have discovered David and to have him as my personal trainer!Finally, David always delivers his classes with true professionalism and encouragement: his qualified knowledge of anatomy is reassuring as he sets the challenging tasks in each session (which are also fun). I started training with David in September 2018 to help me stay injury free during my marathon training. I love our weekly sessions as he always challenges me and since September I can see the difference in my body and my mental attitude as I am so much stronger which is also complimenting my running. I started training with David in January to increase my upper body strength. As an older disabled man I was a little worried about how I would cope but I needn't have worried. David designed my exercises around my disability so that I would be able to do them and get the maximum benefit from them. I can see and feel the difference already. I strongly recommend David. David is a brilliant trainer, kind and very professional. I on the other hand am very naughty, fed up with being old and giving the poor chap plenty of back chat. However he hasmade me fitter and I am more confident, having had a stroke three years ago, which is why I decided to go to a trainer
I am considering having extra sessions in the future as I feel it would be beneficial
