Absolutely thrilled with the exceptional service provided by David and Emma for our wedding photography! 💕✨ From the initial consultation, to a pre-wedding couples photo shoot, to the big day itself, David and Emma demonstrated a level of expertise that immediately put us at ease. They took the time to understand our vision and preferences, ensuring that every moment was captured beautifully, even booking in an extra call to discuss final plans the week before the wedding. Their attention to detail was remarkable, and they flawlessly executed our requested photos, ticking off every item on our checklist! An extra standout moment on our wedding day was when David and Emma brought along a stunning print from our pre-wedding photo shoot for guests to sign, as an alternative guestbook. It really added a personal and intimate touch to our celebration, which has now already been framed and put on our wall as a cherished keepsake. We had completely different weather for each of our shoots (bright sun for the pre-wedding shoot and rain on our wedding day). The resulting photographs are nothing short of breathtaking, reflecting the joy and magic of our wedding day. David really went above and beyond in the December rain to get the perfect shot. What sets David and Emma apart is not only their remarkable skill behind the lens but also their warm and friendly demeanour. They seamlessly blended into the festivities, making everyone feel comfortable and allowing for natural, authentic shots. From the very first time we met, we knew we had found the perfect photographer to document our wedding. David and Emma's enthusiasm and genuine interest in understanding our vision were evident, and it immediately put us at ease. Communication was brilliant. David and Emma both had wonderful ideas for the wedding and were also open to our suggestions. Their ability to blend professionalism with a friendly, personable approach made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. We went to their studio in Consett to meet them in person and to see more of their works and we were truly astonished with their masterpieces. Such a lovely people, I thought and since the meeting, I felt more comfortable and ease that our day will turn out to be awesome as we have these amazing people as our photographers. On the day of our wedding, they seamlessly moved about, effortlessly capturing every precious moment without disrupting the natural flow of events. Their attention to detail was remarkable, ensuring that no aspect of our celebration went undocumented. From the heartfelt exchanges during the ceremony to the laughter and joy shared during the reception, they immortalised each moment in a way that truly reflects the emotions and atmosphere of the day. And I was very hot and bothered, Emma did everything she could to help me, including hitching up my dress! She was my saviour! and David always managed to keep me calm and smiling! They also got some beautiful photos of us with our little dog that mean the world to us, I couldn’t recommend them more, almost a year later and I still can’t stop looking through my beautiful wedding photos, they weren’t just our photographers they were a huge part of our wedding and I wouldn’t change it for the world! I have to say the whole service and experience we have had has been absolutely outstanding from the initial enquiry to sitting down and looking through our photos. We hired David and Emma for a reshoot of us both in our wedding clothes at the venue as the photographer we had on the day of our actual wedding let us down both in terms of taking the pictures we wanted and the overall quality. To say we we’re nevous to have the pictures taken again is an understatement. The initial contact we had with David was informal and friendly and he was focused on understanding what we wanted from him. He gave us lots of reassurance and worked with us to tailor a bespoke package to suit our needs. He was clear upfront about what we could expect on the day and in all fairness he delivered far more than we were expecting which very quickly got rid of the disappointment we experienced with our first photographer. On the day of the shoot David and Emma turned up with lots of equipment to ensure our pictures were perfect regardless of the light conditions both outside and inside the venue. They ensured we got the photos we wanted and a whole lot more. On the day it was freezing but that didn’t put them off, they stayed until the job was done and that for me is why I would give them 10/10 for both effort and what they delivered.
