Kelsey and Spencer, of DarkArts Photography, were amazing! Our engagement pictures were a little last minute since we were planning a wedding in less than 6 months, so we are very glad we found them and they were willing to help us out on such short notice. We didn’t really know a place to go for the pictures, but Kelsey and Spencer were ready with suggestions. On the day, they had already scouted out areas to take pictures prior to our arrival at the location and we were able to get started right away. Spencer’s camera work and knowledge of techniques was impressive! Additionally, Kelsey had brought a lot of examples of poses we could do, so we could decide what we felt comfortable with and she helped position us correctly and made sure my hair was on point. They were also open to suggestions of poses, which made us feel more part of the experience. They really made it fun, so we could laugh and be ourselves, which led to many beautiful pictures, but also funny/candid ones that were display worthy and really showed our true selves. Their prices were very fair and the turnaround time was more than reasonable for the quality of work and our short time frame to send out save the dates! Seriously amazing! I asked them to photograph my 18-month-old, who has just recently started walking. I wanted to capture him running around outside, just being a kid. As luck would have it, our chosen day arrived and it was HOT. 92 degrees and about 300% humidity. My tot was not a happy camper. And yet, Kelsey and Spencer worked some serious magic.
