My experience with Daphne was really great! From the first contact to sending the photos, what a quality. During the shoot it was fun, she makes sure she gets the best out of you and she knows the best spots. The photos are all truly breathtaking. I booked Daphne for a proposal and then engagement shoot. Daphne was extremely helpful in planning the proposal, she gave me lots of options in terms of where to do the proposal and how to pull it off. Being from Chicago and a first time hawaii visitor, this was extremely helpful. The shoot was very easy and relaxed with Daphne, she had lots of great ideas for pictures to take and also was open to suggestions. My husband and I, along with our son went on a family vacation to Oahu. I decided last minute to get family photos done while in Hawaii. I did a quick google search and looked on yelp. I am so glad I came across Daphne. She was quick to respond and was available during our stay. She truly makes the photoshoot so comfortable. And, she was able to get my 20 month old to laugh and smile. She interacted with all of us and truly made us feel at ease during the entire shoot. After we booked the flight, I was thinking it would be a great idea to take our family pictures in Hawaii this year! I did some research and contacted a couple different photographers, but Daphne is the one that we chose to go with. She’s quick at getting back to us, the pictures that we saw from her portfolio are so pretty, and her pricing is very reasonable! Since we’re from out of town and not sure where would be a good place for a family photo shoot (my husband, me, and my 22 month daughter), Daphne suggested a couple really beautiful places. On the day of the photo shoot, we had so much fun! Daphne is super nice and friendly. My daughter usually doesn’t really like stranger, but I was surprised that she warm up to Daphne so fast, which makes the photo shoot went so smooth. If you’re looking to have any type of photoshoot done, Daphne is the way to go. She knows the best places for pictures and takes phenomenal shots. Daphne is wonderful. She recently photographed my family and did a fantastic job. The photoshoot was a birthday gift for my parents, from me and my sister, so the stakes were kind of high and it was not an easy task. We had 3 generations - my parents, me and my sister and our husbands, an 11 year old, and a 2 year old. She had great ideas for different groupings and poses and she managed the kids effortlessly. Daphne took beautiful photos of me and my family. We were a moderate-size group of 7 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 infant. She was extremely easy to work with, kind, and patient, especially when the toddler in our group had a mini meltdown. We had many different group combinations in mind that she made sure to capture and then some. Her turnaround time for proofs and full-resolution photos was less than 2 weeks. Daphne was amazing!!!!! I have never felt so comfortable with someone so fast and luckily its for what could be a very awkward experience if not! Daphne is the absolute best! I wish i could give her 10 stars. When setting up a surprise proposal shoot, I called 3-4 other photographers before I found Daphne. All of them sounded inexperienced, nervous, or just plain adverse to surprise proposal shoots, and I was starting to worry that making this happen would be tougher than I thought. But then I called Daphne and she IMMEDIATELY assuaged all of my worries. She excitedly told me that she LOVED to get surprise proposal shots and proceeded to guide me through what has worked best in the past. I had some particular preferences on when, where and how the shoot would occur, and she worked with me all throughout the process, making the whole thing seemless. Daphne was amazing! We did a maternity shoot with her while we were on vacation and she really put us at ease. Everything from her communication to set up an appointment, through to her packages, payment and pictures were 5 star. I was pretty nervous and she made me look and feel like a goddess. Absolutely incredible! Daphne brought my vision to life and SO MUCH MORE! I've been fighting to reclaim my sensuality after breast cancer treatment, which took my breasts and hair. The vision was "topless goddess" in a lush Hawaiian landscape. Daphne understood completely and found the most ideal, breathtaking location! She made me (and my friends) feel like the most beautiful creatures alive. Everything about the experience was magical and transformative - and that's before I even received the pictures! Daphne was absolutely AMAZING! I wish I could rate higher than just 5 stars. I was pretty nervous leading up to the shoot I did, but once I met Daphne and we were going up the elevator to her studio, any nervousness I felt washed away. She did a in home life style newborn photos for us and I am so happy I asked her. My baby was fussy half of the time, I was worried but she said that's okay. That made me relaxed and she captured the seconds between crying faces amazingly. Even with crying face turned out cute. Also I have 2.5 years old and she was so patient with him too. Daphne is amazing! We were lucky to have her take family photos over Thanksgiving while on vacation in Hawaii. Daphne brilliantly captured the personalities of each family member and their relationship with each other. We have a 4 year old who can often make photo sessions difficult but Daphne had him wrapped around her little finger and she got so many amazing pictures!
