Danny was patient and took the time to go through everything with me. I gave him little to no direction on what I was looking for (I just said "make it better!") and they created a masterpiece. A great website is one in which portrays company branding to help potential customers gain an immediate relationship with the business, runs flawlessly on both PC and mobile devices, is easy to use for all demographics of people and offers informative, response-driven content to provoke positive search engine rankings.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Before we begin, we ask a client to provide some information about their business so that we get an idea of the style of a website which would best suit their needs. Some of these questions may include:
-What goods and services do you wish to sell on the website?
-Do you already have a website or marketing efforts?
-What demographic of internet users are you wanting to target?
-Do you have ideas of what you want for website design?
-Do you have a set timeline of when you need a website or marketing services?
Describe your creative process.
While functionality is of the utmost importance, we believe a website has not reached its full potential unless it includes intelligent design. Our design process has been created and established so that each custom website we provide offers its own touch of flair. The process is simple. First, we get with the client to discuss their business vision for their company website. This is what allows us to come up with an idea of an end result which meets every client expectation. And, it allows us to establish a schedule for completion so our team and the client are on the same page throughout the entire process with timing. After the design consultation, our design team meets to develop a plan which may include sketching ideas, arranging outlines, and listing and assigning tasks. Finally, once the plan is set and organized, we go about executing envisioned designs to meet client expectations and needs.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
To do our job, sometimes, we need the use of information from a client. In terms of design for the website, the information you provide on the brief is usually enough to come up with the style you had hoped for and envisioned. But, in terms of internet marketing efforts, there will likely be some additional information we require from you. This information may include pictures of your business establishment, a brief history of the company, list of staff members and biographies, awards and accolades, blog articles, and other informative content. The more information you can give us, the better chance your website has to be listed higher in search engine results for searches related to your business, goods, or services.
What do you love most about your job?
Here at Dsquared Media, we love to help a business reach its potential through the internet. We believe wholeheartedly that a business which is not utilizing the internet is squandering untapped potential. What inspired you to start your own business?
I graduated in early 2012 with honors at Digital Media Arts College located in sunny Boca Raton, Florida with a degree in fine arts and a focus on advertising. During this time in college, I proposed a business strategy of website development company for my portfolio. Little did I know at the time, this idea would soon blossom into one of the most renowned digital marketing agencies in South Florida.
Upon graduation, with little money and a ton of risk, I took my project and put my degree into action by starting my own website design business, Dsquared Media. Currently, Dsquared Media employs 12 media professionals and holds a 5 star Google customer satisfaction ranking. I attribute my success to a keen eye for intelligent design and an inspiration to live according to my passions.
