Caitlin and Marshall didn't mind that I walked in just a few minutes before closing. They were super nice, answered some newbie questions about their food, made me a great meal and provided excellent customer service! Wow! An amazing burrito joint. Love the laid back casual vibe! Perfect for this tired family after a full day on the beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful with their big menu. They have a bunch of protein options that you can get on a burrito, tacos, bowl, salad, etc. so many great options to choose from, we had such a hard time deciding! The cashier suggested the carne asada burrito with kimchi for my husband who loves spicy food and he was super impressed! The perfect amount of spice, a wild blend of flavors and the burritos are huge! I got the shrimp burger tacos, which were delicious! Perfectly fried shrimp with a tasty slaw and a sweet sauce. The serving sizes are great, each entree comes with yummy seasoned chips and we ordered guacamole and queso to dip which both were great! The kids got cheese quesadillas that they loved ( I tried some of their quesadillas, they were cheesy and delish, especially dipped in queso, omg) and those came with chips too! We got the Nutella Creme Brulee for dessert. Absolutely divine. It was like a super rich and creamy chocolate Nutella pudding almost, with the crunchy brulee top, I don't know, it's hard to describe! Don't skip out on this! I didn't get a picture of it, it was gone so fast. We left so stuffed. We ate so much food, everything was a 10 out of 10. And it didn't break the bank either! It's a great place for a quick bite. Burritos and bowls are very good. It's a hipster spin on a traditional burrito place, and has a cool vibe to it. Service is friendly and quick.

It seems like every beach town/area worth visiting has a small local taco place where you can go and get simple/non-pretentious food that is worth it even if the prices are a little more than what you would like to pay. A few that come to mind:OCNJ:  yelp.com/biz/don-jose-ro...Corolla: yelp.com/biz/mexikind-ta…Daytona: yelp.com/biz/señor-taco-...Dank Burrito 100% fits that vibe.  Let me start by saying that usually the four of us can rarely agree on a single place to eat out while on vacation which is why what happened here is so rare.  The rare part is that we actually came back a 2nd time during our week in Atlantic Beach!  During our visits the last week of July they were really busy each time with locals and tourists alike which to me is a good sign that you've found somewhere good.  Head up to the register, place your order then they find you and bring it to your table.  Even with being as busy as they were, the wait for the food to hit the table was minimal.  I also have to give a big time shout out to the guy at the register who on our first visit pegged us as newbies and was beyond patient with us as he explained a few of the menu choices and heat levels.  Note that the menu has little flame signs next to each item that gives you a ballpark as to how hot certain things are supposed to be.  I question how reliable they are because what I ordered (Carne Asada Bowl) was a three out of four and it honestly wasn't too bad.Carne Asada BurritoCarne Asada BowlPlain Jane Chicken BowlJerk Chicken BowlBasically what they offer is the same 12 menu items repackaged in four formats.  Do you want it as a burrito, bowl, taco or a salad?  I personally didn't chose the burrito option as I thought it would be a slopfest due to its size but the person in our group who got a burrito ate it with minimal issues.One nice touch that you don't get at most places is that they have a salsa bar area where you can chose from a few different flavor/heat levels.  It's not unlike something you would see at Moe's, just better.The food is all very good, the name of the place is hysterical on it's own just like their road sign talking about stopping by to refuel before you storm Area 51.  (Also an excellent blend of tunes playing in store both times.)A+ More...

While visiting Atlantic beach we found that Dank Burrito had vegan options , YEAH!!! We ordered through Uber Eats and got the order minus my vegan burrito and the bag of chips literally had 8 chips four my chips and guacamole, BUT no guacamole .
