What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Taking a great photograph certainly requires a full understanding of equipment, a working knowledge of light (sunlight and flash) and the ability to mix light sources for the desired effect. But most important is the connection with the client. In order create a great photograph, the photographer needs to be able to see the customer, but see their personality. Putting the client at ease in front of the camera.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Describe how they see themselves photographed. Do they have a vision for how the images will be shared (wall art, prints, albums)?
What is their dream portrait? Are they willing to step outside of their traditional comfort zone in working creating stunning images?
What is their budget?
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating images that cause viewers to say ..."WOW". Stunning, Stellar, Spectacular....are all words I love hear. Creating images that give my clients pride is my primary goal.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography has been a life long passion. In high school I began to explore the art, and continued my quest in the field. Opening my own business has allowed me the freedom to accept all types of assignments in many locations over the years.
