Very unprofessional, unreliable and someone should be doing something more than writing reviews to warn people. I feel like Danielle should not be allowed to practice. I have used Danielle for a couple years with no issues but this year has been terrible. No returning of calls, still hasn't filed my taxes even tho she has had them since Jan. Truly one of the worst, most stressful experiences of my life. We have been completely screwed over and constantly been lied to. We are currently (and have been for over a month) begging for our stuff back so we can get our VERY LATE taxes done with someone else but they are illegally withholding our documents. We have had to scrape to replace receipts and bank statements and have been charged $160 a month for the last year and a half for literally nothing to be done and have our irreplaceable information stolen. I was referred to Danielle's SOS Bookkeeping by a family member. I recently submitted 3 years of taxes to her team. The accountant handling my taxes was extremely polite and friendly. I did get audited for 1 year but Danielle has helped me get all of the documents together to submit and sent them off for me. I do not know much about taxes and was worried when I received the audit letter. Danielle's professionalism and expertise has made me feel very comfortable. I even had an unexpected family emergency arise during the process of the audit which delayed me, but she was very kind and understanding. Danielle did an awesome job and made us feel at ease after H&R block left us high, dry, and completely in the dark about what to do with multiple letters from the CRA. Danielle took 30 minutes and explained more to us in that time than H&R block did in the 6 weeks it took them to file our taxes (not to mention the 8 months after filing when they offered us no answers to the same questions). I was feeling crushed by the CRA and essentially was like an ostrich with my head in the sand hoping it would go away (which is a terrible way to handle problems admittedly and zero percent effective with the CRA especially lol). I called Danielle and right from the first phone call she made me feel at ease and comfortable, I came to see her with a large boot box filled to overflowing with a few years of receipts and she graciously took what felt like a metric tonne of weight off of my shoulders and had me sorted out within a few days. I had been ignoring the problems for years and actively for months and she made it go away within less than a week!
