have no idea why it filtered my review. I am a real customer that REALLY has hired Danielle to take pictures of my family on 3 occasions, and was extremely happy with the photos. There were so many really good ones to choose from that it was hard to narrow it down. More...

Q&As

For portraits, working with your subjects to make them comfortable to get the best poses and photos they want.
For events, to be friendly and constantly aware of what is going on around you so that you never miss a moment.
Weddings are a combination of the both. You need to know how to pose, to work with the best backgrounds and locations, as well as being sure to catch all the important moments of the day.

I would want to know what exactly they are looking for. I find that a lot of the time having them send me samples of what they are going for is incredibly helpful. I had a client told me she was looking for headshots, but the samples she sent me were much more high fashion and dynamic than what is considered a typical headshot. This ensured that we were able to work together to achieve the images she actually wanted that she may not have been able to describe verbally.

I love the interaction with people, the ability to be creative even in event photography scenarios. I like bringing life to people's ideas and working with them to do so. I just love being behind the camera; it is my passion and my joy.

I grew up in Santa Clarita where I had the fortune of participating in CalArts' CAP program for high school students. Over the course of two and a half years I learned about black and white and color darkroom printing, and developed my own eye for photography just be constantly shooting. They would teach us various techniques and practices to help us develop our own styles. After a year I realized that photography not only was something I enjoyed and was good at, but something I could see myself doing for the rest of my life.

I have the technical skill to deliver almost anything a client would want, and will do anything within my power to make them happy and to deliver the perfect images for them.
