Daniel was the perfect blend of being both personable and professional. As a bride, he truly made me feel amazing with every picture he took. He was incredibly patient with our guests who not only posed for his camera but would occasionally asked him to take a photo with their camera! Our pre-meetings were very detailed and his follow up was terrific. I truly did spend more time with him on my wedding day than anyone else - including my new husband! I would recommend Daniel to anyone interested in having a no stress, no drama experience where the day and photos are all about the bride, groom and guests. I cannot say enough great things about working with Daniel Min! He is a real treasure and I would highly recommend him to anyone. We hired Daniel as our wedding photographer in May 2011 in Williamsburg, VA. We enjoyed working with him so much that my family hired him again for my sister's wedding in July 2012 outside of Blacksburg, VA. Daniel photographed my wedding this past April in Cape Charles, VA and I couldn't be happier with our pictures. We have had so many compliments from friends and family on our pictures. He took a few pictures of my husband and I on the beach at dusk and several people have told us that they look like the pictures that come in picture frames.After researching and interviewing a few photographers I ultimately chose Daniel because of the below reasons which, in my opinion, set him apart from other more typical wedding photographers.- check out his website, his pictures are amazing and speak for themselves- he drove from Toano to Virginia Beach, VA for our initial interview- he charges a flat rate as opposed to a set time limit with additional fees for extra hours. I believe he worked our wedding for 10 hours.- he is extremely professional and thorough, but more importantly, he has an incredibly affable demeanor which set me at ease immediately. He was patient and calming but also able to direct our large wedding party which was noticed and appreciated.- we had our pictures back within a month of the wedding and he included a letter giving us permission to make prints from our photos and DVD.- he communicated and kept me in the loop through the entire processOur pictures are beautiful. Daniel Min has the eye of a true artist, understanding how to compose a structurally beautiful photograph. But also a tender one, an intimate one, a funny or joyful one. Every picture dazzles with its humanity and depth of feeling borne by a precision eye and expert craft. We were astonished by almost every image—top bridal magazine level. Bottom line is he is probably the best guy out there. A remarkable photographer and a lovely person.Daniel Min was our wedding photographer for a May wedding at Delfosse Vineyards near Charlottesville. The photographs he took were breathtakingly beautiful and caught all of the important moments and people from wedding preparations to ceremony to reception. Having made his own visit to the venue a month or so before, he had already figured out the best vistas and the light. He had laid his plans!He showed up early on the wedding day. He knows exactly what he wants and managed to be almost invisible while getting every shot or gently guiding people for the formal photos, which were quick and fun to do, as he was so prepared and professional. Daniel Min was wonderful to work with during our recent wedding in Richmond. He was friendly, professional, enthusiastic, creative, and just a pleasure to work with. The planning went very well and was very thoughtful. His assistant was also talented and capable. We shopped quite a bit for the right photographer and were confident Daniel's prices were highly competitive. Now that the photos have come back, we are very pleased. The photos are wonderful! I cannot recommend Daniel Min Photography enough! Daniel photographed our wedding in 2010 and we hired him again in 2014 for family photos. We treasure the pictures from both events. Daniel is professional, quick to respond, easy to work with, creative, and above all else, incredibly talented! All of his photos seem to capture the moment perfectly.
