D'Angelo's Italian Market catered our barn wedding for 260 guests this past September and they completely nailed it. The level of attention and quality of service they provided surpasses any other vendor that we worked with. A special thanks to Beppe, Danielle, and of course THE boss, Frank, for the painstaking level of detail you put into our wedding day; from picking out olives, testing out disposable plates, to the appropriate selection of buffet dishes so that nothing would get " shangad' " - as we Itals like to call it - sitting over the sterno flame. Our guests are still raving about how good the food was and where the heck Frank got his bread. Even my Grandmother is still talking about the honey mustard chicken, and she's not easy to please. Frank went above and beyond, doing so for an incredibly reasonable price. It was worth every penny. He even coordinated the serving staff and those girls hustled! I could go on and on. D'Angelo's catered our daughter's wedding reception for 200 in June 2019, and we cannot recommend them too highly. The food was fabulous! !! We had a buffet for all palates--meat, vegetarian, vegan. The food was high-quality, hearty, plentiful, and varied; many guests commented on how delicious the fare was. Frank D'Angelo helped us plan and choose the menu; he was very helpful, knowledgeable, competent. professional, reassuring and easy to work with. Honestly, I do not know how this place doesn't get acclaim being at its location. Instead of walking down Nassau Street to get a subpar Hoagie Haven sandwich. Why not stop to a very authentic, friendly, enjoyable plave in the heart of Princeton.I always order a hero, or as we say in Philadelphia, a hoagie, from this establishment as it might not be the biggest sandwich you've seen, but it definitely leaves you filled and not wanting more until you get hungry again. I even got to try the arancini Siciliani and the well known Sicilian dessert cannoli. I must say, this might be one of the top three best cannoli joints you could find from Philadelphia, New York, and anywhere in between. it gives our Italian Market a good run for its money, which is difficult to do.All I can say is, after I secure a bag of excellent vinyl from up the street, I have to grab a bite to eat from this establishment.Grazie mille. This place is amazing! They have such a cool set up and such an amazing selection of foods. All of the food is made with super high quality ingredients and is super fresh. They have a little market where I believe you can purchase some packaged foods. Then they have a section where you could get lunch meats or sandwiches. They were making hot and cold sandwiches and wraps. They have a traditional Italian sides section so if you want to get some sides they have that and look super great. They then had a huge display and variety of Italian desserts. The final section they have is a pizza section, which is what I got when I went there. I got a slice of cheese and a Chicken Parm Roll. The cheese slice was super solid and I would definitely get it again. The Chicken Parm Roll was one of the best things I have had in a while. It was a basically a Stromboli with bread chicken on the inside. The roll was cooked so nicely and I liked it more than a Stromboli because of the fact that it just didn't get as soft or soggy as a Stromboli roll. I feel like at times a Stromboli may not always have a nice crunch or crisp outside, but this was not the case with the roll. The inside of the roll was also packed stuff with breaded chicken. I do not think I had one bite with out chicken. Overall, this place was great and am certainly looking forward to going back again. More...
