Launched in Summer 2014 Dance Grooves is the brainchild of Emily Reed, who identified a need for a more personalised and creative approach to children's dance parties and classes. From street dance classes for children, themed Kids Dance & Creative Clubs and events to Musical workshops, the Dance Grooves team continue to dream up new ways to have fun, while learning valuable life skills.

Very nice soft play place. Lots of variety without the venue being too big. There are rooms on the first floor for birthday parties. Also a room for a class for tiny babies and an area where some mums breasts feed in piece and quiet! Also downstairs there's another large room at the back to play ball games and a netball post. It is a very nice place, clean, tidy and bright. Some people complained that there was bad smell, I didn’t smell anything bad here at all. Reception staff is extremely nice and friendly. She helps to persuade the older kids to leave the younger kids room all the time in a nice way, which put my toddler in a safe environment. What do you love most about your job?
Working with wonderful clients and constantly building and making new working relationships. The day-to-day logistics. Being my own boss and going where the market is trending. Watching my company grow and expand by our great reputation and team. Networking and helping others.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a girl and a boy and wanted them to have an activity they could do together which wasn't gender specific. Having a background in logistics and events and not wanting to hire a nanny it made sense to go into events and offer a bespoke service but not at bespoke and designer prices. Our dance classes are great for improving confidence, co-ordination and fitness and we make sure we have tons of fun in the process. Our street dance parties are extremely popular and appeal to boys and girls as dancing is cool for everyone. We also offer private dance classes, which are reasonably priced and are proving to be very popular too.
