What an amazing experience with Georgi! Came here for two dance lessons a week before our reception, so we were looking for something basic, yet romantic. Georgi was an absolute pleasure to work with, and his humor had us laughing so much! It was such a fun time learning and dancing. Lets just say we never thought we were able to dance like this. Georgi and his wife Adriana gave us a dance routine for our wedding that at first glimpse we did not think we could do. However with their guidance and teaching, we were able to have the first dance of our dreams! When we were getting discouraged or stuck, they kept on pushing us, letting us know we could do it. Our dance had it all, a waltz portion, one armed lifts and plenty of spins. Our guests all have said they have never seen a first dance like that ever. As a Dance a Lot student for almost 3 years now, I can proudly say that I have greatly improved as a student of Adriana, Georgi, Angelina, Michelle, and all the other teachers at Dance a Lot. Going to Dance a Lot does not only guarantee that you become a spectacular dancer, but you gain so much more. Things like flexibility, stamina, strength, agility, even spatial intelligence, are things that are not only imperative to understand the art of dancing (it truly is a beautiful art!), but for many other aspects of life. Georgi and Dance A Lot are simply amazing and truly are miracle workers. On my now wife and my first day of dance lessons I told Georgi my goal was "not to look like a dope during our first dance. " I had never taken dance before and Georgi assured me he would make sure our dance was something everyone at our wedding would never forget. Georgi and Dance A lot delivered 100% on that promise. My wife and I wanted to make the first dance as a married couple extra special. We were looking at dance studios on the knot. We found this place called dance alot studio and they had great reviews about them.Once we sat down with Georgi, we realized how passionate he was about dancing and knew that this was the place that we wanted to learn how to dance. Thanks so much for helping us with our wedding dance! Our guests were really surprised and they loved it! I got the Groupon to just try the class and we were not really expecting to continue with the lessons or spend the time, but then we were hooked. Georgie and Adriana were lots of fun and they kept us interested and we looked forward to each lesson like a date night, even when we were stressed. In just 5 lessons, we went from very awkward people who have never danced before, to wowing our guests!

I've never taken dance lessons before I did with Georgi. My wife was not very confident in dancing in public and with Georgi's help she did great! The process of picking the song, to the finishing touches of the dance were everything we wanted, simple but elegant. I would highly recommend the 10 lessons package, it was worth the money spent and it allowed us to get accustomed to dancing as well as polish our moves for our special day. We have only been here for a couple sessions, but my fiance Barbara and I couldn't be happier choosing Dance A Lot to take our classes. The routine Georgi came out with almost out of thin air came out perfectly and I can't wait to perfect it for our wedding and really show everyone the hard work that we will put into the dance. As a long time student at Dance A Lot, I have seen my progression from a person with 2 left feet to someone who enjoys being on the dance floor. and is comfortable dancing to different types of music. At parties, we always envied the couples who knew how to dance, and now WE are one of those couples. At a recent wedding, we were having a great time dancing the night away, and our friends kept commenting that our dancing looked effortless and so smooth. Even after almost 10 years, our lessons challenge us with new steps or techniques, and we continue to see our dancing improve along with our balance, coordination and flexibility. The studio is a welcoming place with expert teachers and a great group of supportive students who have become friends. Georgi made our first dance dreams come true!!! We first met Georgi many, many months ago when we decided that we wanted to perform a special first dance for our guests. He suggested that since we signed up for 20 lessons that we should make the dance more intricate and boy was it spectacular!! We chose two different songs and Georgi's amazing team mixed them together seamlessly! I have never had more fun than performing the dance in front of all of our guests! He is such an amazing dancer and teacher and we felt 100% confident with our routine! Wedding planning is sooo stressful but we looked forward to every week of dance class! It was such a nice break in between all of the craziness of planning a wedding. My husband and I will be going back for couples lessons soon because we miss Georgi so much already! Looking back now a month after the wedding, it was the best money we spent and will cherish the memories forever. I cannot recommend Dance A Lot Ballroom enough! I have been a student of Georgi since January of 2015, taking lessons weekly. My initial goal was to learn Argentine Tango, a dance that looks simple but requires an excellent teacher Georgi never made me feel awkward and varied the teaching methods in order for me to execute the moves. Participating in two of the school's 'show case events reinforced my confidence. In addition, the adult students who I have met are friendly, supportive and full of enthusiasm. I must add that Adriana, Georgi's beautiful and (extremely) talented wife, has also helped me in becoming a better dancer. As a last 'footnote', I just read that dancing is the best exercise for the brain! The combination of learning dance moves and not being sedentary have been proven to keep our mind clear and functioning. So, whoever reads this, get out there and find this studio! Georgi and Adriana made our wedding day incredibly special. When we first entered Dance a Lot Studio we had no idea of the type of dance we wanted, but Georgi immediately came up with ideas that matched our chosen song beautifully. I always wanted to learn how to dance but never dared to try because of poor coordination and misical skills. About 2 years ago I walked into Dance A Lot studio just to inquire about the lessons and I was totally smitten by both Georgi and Adriana. Their genuine friendliness, professionalism and willingness to listen to your individual needs created such a wonderful atmosphere that for the first time in my life I was ready to actually give it a try. Since then these lessons have become something I started looking forward to every day. I just can't live without them any more. And all this is because Georgi and Adi are such superb teachers and such wonderful people. Georgi is amazing at identifying your problem and focusing on it with such dedication that you are left with no choice but making steady progress. And all this is done while having so much fun!
