We had a large party of Mums out for a rare night out to celebrate Christmas.

Our party arrived at 8pm to find that there wasn't enough chairs to seat us all. We had been told the whole restaurant would be ours but this was not the case.
By almost 9pm we hadn't been offered any drinks and several members of the group ended up taking charge of the drinks order rather than the staff.

It wasn't till nearly 9:30 until we had been given our starter courses.
This was also a surprise as it had been changed from the original menu we had been given weeks in advance and as a party we hadn't been told of any menu changes.

By the fourth course members of our group had to leave as it was already nearing 11pm. Finally we all finished at 12am, four hours from first arrival to finishing for a set taster menu is extreme. This was a Thursday night and many of us had work the next day and little ones to get up with in the early hours.

Our next concern was the quality and amount of food presented. To present half a baby carrot with some onion as a dish is disappointing. I’m also not sure you can call something served in a tea light holder a whole course.
Some of the food was tasty but some a bit odd, pudding in particular which many party members found to be a let down.

On a positive the canapés were a nice unexpected addition and were tasty too, but I have to assume these were provided as you weren't ready for the main service.

The restaurant knew we were coming, we had informed them of all dietary requirements and food preferences prior to arrival. I would of expected most dishes, especially the cold ones to be prepared ready slightly in advance so that after half an hour of arriving the first course is served.

A reasonable amount of the cutlery and glasses were dirty and it might of been a better service if they had already set the table up with glasses and water jugs before our arrival.

Certainly a few party members were still hungry when they went home which is not something we would expect after spending £30 on a meal.

We felt overall that the reataurant did not cope with having a large party and that in future they should decide on a maximum number and inform people of this.
Some of the group have eaten at this restaurant before and said how good the food was and how full they had been feeling by course four of a set taster menu. But on this occasion you even failed to satisfy those people.
As I have already said we felt disappointed by the whole experience and hope they can make improvements for future customers.

Went for brunch, food was good quality but the portions were way too small.

Nice decor, atmosphere and service. Food was not good. Fried chicken topped with "home fries" (which are not french fries), were soggy and tasteless. Chicken meat is boneless thighs with skin left on, which is fine, if the skin is crisp. It left a soggy wall between the chicken and the batter. Would have liked this place to be great, unfortunately the food needs work
