A photoshoot with 6 children in a bath full of water would perhaps challenge even the most steely-nerved photographers but Dan not only made all the children giggle but he produced some beautiful shots of all the children including the under 2's and made our products look perfect for our website. We would like to say a massive thanks to Dan for everything he has done throughout our wedding journey. My best man advised me before the wedding to ensure that we got the photographer right and scared us with a story about a friend who made the wrong choice and nobody has ever seen the wedding pics.

After some studying of photographers and their work online my wife and I opted to meet Dan and speak with him about our upcoming wedding. Dan made us both welcome in his home and showed us his work discussing what sort of photos we were looking for. We were both blown away by Dans work and the choice to have him photograph our big day was an easy one.

What we couldn't have foreseen was the amount of time and care Dan put into making sure everything was perfect for the wedding. Dan did not just show up on the day, take photos, process them and then hand them over. He consulted with us throughout the build up of the wedding, he made a photoboard of ideas that we discussed and chose styles we liked, he researched our families so he was familiar with names and relations, he met with us at the venue and discussed shots and ideas together, he had an engagement shoot beforehand to put us at ease in front of the camera. He agreed shots and family combinations with us beforehand so that on the day everything flowed. He was with us on the day from morning until the evening and with his colleague Alan managed to capture the bride and groom getting ready separately and then the whole day magnificently. The photos that were taken are the best photos I have ever seen and everybody we show are absolutely blown away by them. We have looked through all of the photos countless times and so we were both shocked when presented with our wedding book at just how they looked even more breathtaking in print.

I thought before Gemma and I got married that a good wedding photographer would be one that wasn't noticed, I was wrong. Everybody at our wedding noticed Dan, he put everybody at ease, he captured people in natural moments time and again, our family and friends thought that he was a long time friend of ours, children loved him, oldies loved him even my Dad loved him!! I'm usually a man of few words but to say one or two sentences about Dan does not do him credit. He has captured our wedding day like no other could and I would urge anybody planning on hiring a photographer for any occasion not just a wedding to look at his photos, meet Dan and you will not be disappointed.

Our little family had a fantastic photography shoot with Dan in a stunning forest location.

We wanted an autumn leaves family portrait and some shots of our daughter and Dan certainly didn’t disappoint.

Dan did an amazing job for us and was happy to roll around the forest floor getting covered in leaves and mud to get the best shots. He was great with our daughter too, doing all sorts of weird and wonderful impressions to get her attention and make her laugh.

We can’t recommend Dan enough.

Just seen the photos from our engagement party and could not be more impressed! Having seen the photos from our engagement photoshoot we were over the moon and left with high expectations going forward - however Dan managed to smash our expectations out of the water with the photos from our engagement party.

They are just incredible, a great mixture of posed and natural - my partner and I could not be more happy. Dan even snapped pics of people we never thought we would have photos of - as soon as we pop the photos on Facebook we know we'll see all our friends using Dans' photos as their profile pictures.

We do however need to purchase numerous frames as we know these pictures will make perfect presents for Christmas!

Can't wait for the wedding now - we know we will have even more amazing photos that will leave us speechless (almost!!!!). More...

We have just completed the Baby Plan with Dan, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture so perfectly our baby’s first year. We have just received our photographs from Dan. They are fantastic and I have received loads of great compliments them.
Dan’s personal and professional skills are first class . He is very personable and he has a good knack in getting everyone to feel at ease. The time Dan took in getting to know us, what we wanted, where the photos were likely to be displayed, was really thoughtful and added to making the actual photography session an enjoyable occasion and meant that we got photos that really captured us as a family. The after service was first class as well. Dan took his time in taking us through all the photos. There was no pressure put on us and we were able to take our time in choosing our photos.

Super photo shoot of our girls with Dan! The girls were at ease immediately with Dan and played whilst he captured lots of natural photographs of them together and individually. Exceptional yet again! As returning customers we knew exactly what to expect from Dan, patience, laughter and a creative prospective. All things we needed that day, as our youngest member was an all kicking and screaming toddler, but never the one to smell defeat, Dan had his fun, upbeat attitude and turned her mood around, and in doing so managed to capture my favourite impromptu picture of her that is now hanging proudly on our wall! Dan dedicated his whole day to us, showed endless amounts of kindness, kept us all going, and smiled the whole way through. I have just completed a 10 hour photography course with Dan. I started as a novice with a new DSLR, and I believe I am now more confident with the camera. I have an understanding of the importance of the composition (with all its complexities), and thanks to Dan I understand how to interact with children to get the best results. From the beginning of our wedding planning we knew we wanted Dan as our photographer! We had an amazing engagement shoot where Dan had loads of ideas and put us at ease straight away. Dan managed to capture some lovely shots of our children, even when the eldest (3 year old) was in a grumpy mood. I approached Dan some months ago with regards to embarking on some photography training. Dan stood out from the rest in his field due to his unique approach to his website and the fact he was willing to teach the business side of photography.
