My shoot with Dan was one of the most fun and joyful experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I wanted to celebrate the love I’ve found for myself and my body and I’m SO happy I chose Dan to work with! He has a great way of making you feel at ease the entire time, like you’re hanging out with a really good friend. The entire process made me feel comfortable, respected and empowered from start to finish, from our first meeting to go over what I wanted to the end of the actual shoot. As a plus size woman, I also appreciated the way my body was featured in the photographs. The lighting and style really highlighted parts of me I didn’t even realize I could love even more, and the poses we worked on honored my body as it naturally is. He captured my true personality and it shines through in the photos. I’d recommend his studio to anyone and everyone. Truly, a wonderful experience. More...

This shoot was SO MUCH FUN! It's was collaborative, artistic, and made me feel exceptionally confident! Dan listens to everything that you want to come from the pictures and together you make beautiful work. Being new at this I also appreciated the very clear directions that Dan gives and how incredibly comfortable he made me feel. We rocked out to some music and had a blast! As someone who still struggles with body images issues I wanted to do a shoot like this because it scared me. The day of the shoot I was still crazy nervous, but I went anyway and am so glad I did. And Dan is the PERFECT person to do a first time shoot with. He makes it impossible for you to feel awkward, embarrassed, or self conscious, and I left the entire experience feeling empowered, refreshed, and more thoughtful towards my body. The more I looked into Dan's work I started to notice that every single photograph was uniquely gorgeous in it's own way and mine were no different. The first time I saw my photos was a powerful moment for me. They were exquisite and I couldn't be happier with them, I still can't believe they're me. His attention to detail and my feelings was wonderful and absolutely appreciated. He helped me pick photos and poses I was in interested in. He created a Pinterest board so we could brainstorm ideas. It was a WONDERFUL experience.
