Since 2012, when I set up 'Pickle Studio', I have been offering the wealth of my knowledge and experience in graphic design, directly to businesses.

What do you love most about your job?
I love impressing my clients.
Doing something that I really enjoy - It's fun, not like work really!
Working for myself means my hours can be completely flexible. I can go out for a run during the day as well as talk to clients on the other side of the world during the evening.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To be the master of my own destiny - making decisions and seeing results which are proportional to what I put in.
To be able to build relationships and work directly with my clients. When working within large design agencies I witnessed projects being passed from person to person and instructions passing through account managers. This sometimes resulted in mixed messages or a 'Chinese whisper effect' and a lack of continuity. My clients like communicating with the guy that's actually doing the work.

I'm an expert. I know what I am doing and what I am talking about... but I also listen and work together with clients.

Branding, or your ‘visual identity’ is when your brand logo, fonts, colour combinations, images, graphics, materials and tone of voice are presented consistently.
